I think with these players they've over achieved. Not 1 player gets an 8. About 7 get 5's - thats not management thats the players..
Needs changing mate, when things are not working and the players are flat that’s when the manager earns his money, I read on here our thirst effort on target was the 65 minute which trickled into the keepers arms, it’s just not good enough and a change in formation and tactics is what was needed. Hecky is not capable.

If Hecky cannot change the formation and tactics, and all he does is picks what he thinks is his strongest 11 and just leaves them to it and hopes for the best then I want the job, I can do that no problem.

What do the away Blade hop heads reckon about Marston's 61 Deep Pale Ale? They had it on the concourse. I suppose if you're going to push the Beer In The Ground KLAXON for Beavertown or Camden or Magic Rock, then you could push it for that....

Ok having a clear out, but it only works if better players are brought in.

Who we going to get that is better to replace the players I've listed above ?
After todays performance that shouldn’t be too difficult.

Can someone tell me why Norwood was fucking standing next to Egan for majority of that game. He’s stands there barking, he doesn’t press, doesn’t mark, doesn’t tackle I’m fucking sick to death of him. Absolutely sick of him. Our midfield gets bypassed every away performance because the opposition controls the midfield. We have a fucking Scottish midget that does absolutely fuck all. I bet Berge, mgw, Davies, Egan all can’t wait to fuck off. N’Diaye can’t be arsed ever since he got took off in first half. Jebbison should have scored idc if he’s 18 or not. osbourn should have scored too

Poor. Scrappy first half with both sides a little lethargic. We carried on and they woke up a little. They got some luck on the goal but it was terrible defending and they were always the more likely to score. Our midfield was terrible. While there was nothing upfront the 3 in the middle hardly tracked anyone and hardly broke forward.

Foderingham - 6.5 - No chance on the goal and little to do. Kept things fairly tidy Didn't have a great deal to do.
RND - 6 - Our best defender but not saying a lot really. Looked the more likely going forward but the final ball was generally poor. OK defensively but no one was any good second half.
Robinson - 4 - Gave the ball away poorly first half and you could see his frustration with no one making runs in front for him. Few more mistakes second half and got caught goal side twice in about 5 minutes when they should have scored.
Egan - 4.5 - Thought he looked all at sea at times. No fault on the goal but very slow to react defensively and you'd expect him to be the one keeping the shape at the back. Pushed forward and the game went on. At least showed some desire
Davies - 4 - Terrible for the goal and look awkward all game out of position. I think I'd rather see Gordon there. They got balls through us way too easily
Baldock -2- Shit. First game back so gets some leeway but constantly offside going forward. Then tried a dive. Crap on the goal and seemingly out of position most of the second half. They kept attacking down the left and no pressure at all put on the ball. Not only him.
Norwood - 3 - Gave the ball away a few times. Did very little. Looked like he'd been on a two-week bender
Fleck - 3 - Probably with Fleck who looked slow from the very start. So slow with and without the ball. Terrible set-pieces. Terrible.
Berge - 2 - There was a moment during the first half where he game away and as their midfielder attacked down our left he jogged back at a pace even I'd be embarrassed by. He can't play a deep role because he consistently shirks his defensive responsibilities. Baldock was crap but he was expected to charged down the right wing and charge back while Berge jogs around the middle. Slow on the ball as well. Slows us down. As did all our midfield. Always an extra tough or a turn inside.
MGW - 6.5 - Only players, along with RND, who looked likely to make something happen first half. Kept coming and offering for the ball, finding space and causing them issues. Seemed to hurt his back and came deeper and deeper second half a bit pointlessly.
Jebbison - 2.5 - Lad does not make run. FFS. he needed to keep making runs to offer us an out but he stands around. Sure, he got naff-all service but he is not putting the work in for the team.

Subs

Ndiaye - 4 - He has energy but does he have a footballing brain? He lost the ball several times because unlike MGW he doesn't know who is around him and tries his trickery in stupid positions. Sure, he added legs and someone to offer for the ball but lacks the intelligence with it. Needs to improve. I can see why, given his performances over the last month, why he doesn't start regularly.
Osborn - 5 - At least had a shot at the end but not sure if he knew where he was meant to be playing. Ran around everywhere.
Osula - 5.5 - The lad seems to be a better option than Jebbison for me. He at least knows how to play a forward role and gives us an outlet to get up field

Hecky - 4 - We have zero fit senior strikers and that has to be factored in. As does the fact that players have been away, so he's had little chance to work with Jebbison, MGW and Berge together. They all looked like strangers today. First half was scrappy but we were clearly losing the midfield second half and I'd have taken a defender off and put Osborn in there. Just for some energy and legs. In Hecky's defence I looked at the possible changes at half-time and I genuinely was struggling to see how he could have improved us going forward. Sure, you could push Berge up more but that would have left the Krankies on their own in the middle. Needs to sort something out for Tuesday. Maybe a 4-3-3.

Stoke - scrappy and lethargic first half. They looked a lot more up for it during the second but while their players clearly have skill they were often awful or half-arsed. No one particularly stood out for them, although Sawyers always scares me, but Tymon put some great balls in.

Nothing more than we deserve.
This Chairman is small time, and only interested in making a profit, without reinvesting.
We are only challenging because we have the remnants of the team that took us up last time.
When they are sold, and Gibbs White goes, and we play our kids who clearly aren’t ready, if they ever will be, God help us!
League 1 here we come.
Honesty👍

I think we’ve fucked it with that result. Forest and Middlesbrough in the driving seat

raul s favourite beer.

He really really hasn’t, all he did was to put round pegs in round holes and play a style that the players were accustomed to. Was not rocket science and it was a fairly simple change in tactics which I’m pretty sure Slav changed to a couple of successful games before his sacking. Where Hecky lacks for me is once he sends out his team he hopes for the best, the players sometimes rise sometimes they don’t but one things for sure he is clueless when it comes to needing a change of formation, tactics, subs etc so you can never have any confidence whatsoever in Hecky being tactically astute in changing things for the better in any game that the players are flat in. Perfect example today.
You say that but if hed been in charge from the start of the season we would be in the top two

It's a decent enough beer. Should be cheaper than the fancier options as well. Might be an issue pouring it though? Bit lively. I don't understand why we don't get a deal with a local brewery. Winner all round.

THIS !!!! PLUS WHY DO WE PERSIST IN PLAYING THOSE SLOW PACED DEAD END BALLS IN TIGHT SITUATIONS, AT BEST WE DONT LOSE THE BALL BUT NOTHING GOOD EVER COMES OF IT. TACTICALLY IT'S VERY POOR TO NOT EVEN TRY & CHANGE WHAT WAS GOING ON (OR IF HE DID IT WAS NOT EVIDENT)

It remains the worst pint I've ever started, so much so, that pre-Sunderland away the other year I managed less than a half and left it.

So my view may be a little clouded :D

Weird.. I didn't see the prince donning the kit today, didn't see the prince giving absolute garbage performances time and time again.

Just woke up after falling asleep during g the first half. So how many did we win by? Or can I go back to sleep!!!

When I get in the plane to Canada!

I'll change it to fatcanadianpaul
Do you get in a plane or on a plane? 😂

Have a good game in the morning, I’m missing this week. You’ll probably enjoy it more.

I didn't have it today. It just seems a very contrived "we've got to have a craft-a-like pale on the list" beer. When I've had it, it's not been awful, but that's not a good enough reason to rush to it

Our best hope is to edge out Luton, and Blackburn who we have a game in hand on.

Have one of Forest and Boro knock each other out.

Edge two ugly, attritional games vs Huddersfield.

Gibbs-White produces one moment of quality to win the final.

That would be Middlesbrough who we completely outdid tactically a couple of weeks ago when we had sharp in the side and thrashed 4 1? Injuries are taking a massive toll on us
Yes, that’s the one.Take a look at the League table. It’s performance and points in that which decides which teams make the play offs, not just one game in it.

You harsh bastard 😂 fucking 2s and 3s. Start playing Sunday mornings again and I’ll rate you 😉

Would love it to happen. Not sure it will. Then the real issues start. Cos we will then need to go out and buy 15 new players all of premier league class, move Hecky to DoF and get a better first team manager in. Simple this football malarkey!

You do know we had McGoldrick, McBurnie, Brewster and Sharp avaiable at the time. Why did we need another striker ? How could we predict all 4 would be injured at the same time ?
As Warnock once said 'you can never have enough strikers'. Regarding the 4 mentioned above..
Didsy is not really a striker, more of an attacking midfielder with a poor goal scoring record
McBurnie is crap and injury prone
Brewster just coming decent and Billy getting old.
Anyone who knows anything about football could see we needed at least another striker in, possibly 2.
