He really really hasn’t, all he did was to put round pegs in round holes and play a style that the players were accustomed to. Was not rocket science and it was a fairly simple change in tactics which I’m pretty sure Slav changed to a couple of successful games before his sacking. Where Hecky lacks for me is once he sends out his team he hopes for the best, the players sometimes rise sometimes they don’t but one things for sure he is clueless when it comes to needing a change of formation, tactics, subs etc so you can never have any confidence whatsoever in Hecky being tactically astute in changing things for the better in any game that the players are flat in. Perfect example today.

That is one decent performance in seven now (against Middlesbrough). Even the 2-0 against Barnsley was shocking for 60+ minutes off the game. Injuries to key players and a complete drop off in form for the rest has effectively ended our slim chances of success this season. This is not knee jerk but a month or so in the making.
