Kenny

Walker Cahill Killgallon Naughton

Coterill Brown Jagielka Stead

Hulse Beattie

Kenny - The only one who's had their eyebrow bitten off.

What do i win?

I was going to say that Cotterill is the only hugely over-rated Championship squad player but then I noticed Stead's name.

So more of a punishment then? :)

Do you think thats why Cressy got sent off yesterday, had enough of Jankers alongside Chedington ...

Cahill - the only one we haven't sold.

Bring your boots next Saturday, be there by 2:45, a bit earlier if you want a couple of Peters Pies before the game.

Money is a bit tight so Kev can only pay you £8,000 for the game, sorry, but on the upside, you dont have score for that.

Reported Arsenal are after Cahill in January for £10 million, missed one there Kev

Kilgallon, because his name isn't spelt properly? And Cotterill too. So there's two odd ones out.

Unless it's Brown, the only colour.

Jagielka, because he's the only one with Nikodem for a middle name?

Beattie, the only one to play for Rangers at the moment?

Naughton? Walker? Cahill? Kenny? Hulse? Stead?

It's Kenny, isn't it? He's the only one I've seen driving a Porsche Coxster. It's him.

Is it Hulse? The only one whose name rhymes with a bodily function.

Is it Cahill? The only one we haven't sold, because he was on loan? Like selling a hire car.....

Who is it?

It's a trick question - all of them were excellent pieces of business by the club and all the replacements could have potentially been better.

I tell you what it is - only one of them currently plays at a club below us in the league - Kilgallon at Boro?

Coffee? A drink fit for Americans, women and southerners. Tea is the drink of proper northern men.

I count myself as a northern southerner then - fucking hate the stuff!

Shorehamview is correct, Cahill we did not get a fee for him as he was a loanee

Hmm was Stead the only one who didn't actively want to move to another club?

sorry bob, i remember blades on sky few months after beattie left for stoke n pundit asked him about his fast move, beattie sounded pissed and said he never wanted to go, he was happy at the blades

He forgot the mention the clause that he was very happy, providing his agents demands of a pay rise and extension were met.

James Beattie has "never wanted" to leave a football club, yet how many times has he moved?

No one ever wants to leave the blades, except for personal reasons eg more money, better team, own parking place, free black pudding 3 times a week etc etc :)

If he had have been happy why not stay and help must us climb the table rather than constantly pushing for a new contract. We could of discussed the deal in the summer as he knew only too well we wouldn't be able to extend his contract on the existing terms never mind the terms he wanted.

It is an indictment on the idiocy of our recent transfer policy that the unbeaten QPR team contains three players who we have sold in the last three seasons. A fourth, Derry, was of course also sold on McCabe's watch.

Isn't it also an indictment that they are funded way beyond what they would be able to afford if they didn't have a benefactor covering the losses.
See also Forest and Leicester.

Why can't people get it into their heads that we can't afford to pay massive wages while our crowds are sub 25,000.

I have addressed this in another thread, so in brief: I understand this point. What you always ignore when you make it is that no team in the division can afford it. Most of them were subsidised by a benefactor. Ours has given up, having frittered away a good financial position we had in the summer of 2007, and it will cost us a place in this league.

I'm not ignoring it, I acknowledge it and agree that it is accurate. We don't have a benefactor so we need to live within our means.
