TBF it actually is a bit of a wild comment when you take a step back.
A young lad was thrown into his first season in the hardest league in the world, adjusting to a new country, new language, new teammates, in a team that had just lost their 2 best players, that didn't smartly invest in improving the squad, put alongside aging/slow defensive partners, and was asked to pretty much defend against the worlds best all by himself, in potentially the worst team to ever play in the prem, in front of an unsettled defence and some really dodgy keeping.
I'm not sure there was a player last season in the whole of the prem that was given a worse poker hand than Souza.
To consider all of that and come to the conclusion, "It's because he's fundamentally shit", just seems unnecessarily harsh and unfair.
I completely agree with the ones that have said Souza played wank last season, that's true. Just disagree with writing-off a player who didn't really have a chance.
