Yes great bit of skill and a pinpoint cross for the 2nd goal, just needs to work on his heading, tackling and working back as a team player and he's cracked it.

Such a typical 'GET STUCK IN' football fans response.

Why would you want your most creative player trying to be Nick Montgomery? He is not that type of player, he is never doing to be good in the air or tackle, or bust a gut to get back. What he will do is that moment of magic that can turn a game.

Which would you rather pay to see and have in your side?

Barcelona’s recent success was in no small part down to the swarm tactic they employed every time they conceded possession. No player was exempt from that work ethic.

I don’t want to see Brooks get stuck in, or bulk up, or be played at fullback. But I expect him to get himself goalside and track a runner when the situation demands. It costs nothing and makes him a better player.

Fuckin hell Montgomery was never good in the air or in the tackle more like a Jack Russell with three legs run a lot but kept falling oer.

Exactly. How many seconds were they given to win the ball back?

All black and white with some. Wanting Brooks to develop a more rounded game as he progresses doesn't mean stopping running at people.
