For years, Revo Sr would get me tickets on his account when I needed them. I never had a membership or any loyalty points. It was purely for convenience. We were not selling out at the time, so there was no need to bother doing anything else.

I suspect there are a number of people in that situation.
For years it's also been one ticket per customer number so nobody had been getting extra tickets on somebody else's customer number.

All I can say is that this was our standard practice between 2008 and 2019.

If they go to games and don 't have accounts then they're doing it for free on other peoples tickets and robbing united of income.

Why should they get the opportunity to pay for Wembley tickets when they don't pay for any others?
Are you daft? They pay for their tickets u clown

Little bit of education for you, if I walk in ticket office give my dad's post code for example I've got a ticket paid for without any of my info

I've 38k points mate what's daft about that?
Well maybe you could have had 48k points and maybe the others could have had 500 if they'd used the system properly.

If you choose to operate outside the system you can't complain if it then comes back and bites you on the bum.

Why you trying to argue YOUR point that people haven't paid for their tickets? You've been proved wrong I hope you get your tickets but do not hate on others that like not to create an account but still follow the lads.

How can they be robbing utd of income when the tickets already been paid for?

if our ticket office are worried about city fans getting tickets for our end their barking up the wrong tree city wont sell their 34k they didnt for last seasons semi final it should be season ticket holders first fans who attended the blackburn quarter final and then put em on general sale its the only way weve any chance of shifting 34k tickets although of course we could be celebrating promotion that day in which case we will sell out what a day in london that would be

Which was because of very understandable train related reasons. If City didn't think they'd sell out, they would have published what they will do in the event of it not selling out to season ticket holders already. Which, unless they've done that since I left for Norwich, they haven't

I wanted to take my 5 year old son who at the minute thinks he is a citeh fan, with me living in Manchester for the last 15 years that’s who his mates support. I am desperately trying to make him see the light and one day when Man City are shite again he probably will and thought this would go a long way to showing him light. I have a plenty of points but will struggle to get him a ticket. Might be a blessing because at the minute he would insist on wearing that Man City shirt in the blades end. I will not give up on converting him until I die.
I'm not sure this is the game to change his allegiance.😂😂

if the noises from people coming in and out the ticket office are to be believed we’ll be lucky to take 28/29k

I thought i cared, so got a ticket, booked and paid a parking spot at wembley, but turns out i don't care, so i've fucked it off.
if we beat them i wont be going to the final either, bacause all that's important right now is that 8000m we'll secure by going up. and nowt else really matters.

Can't wait to read how many Wednesday would have taken to a game they didn't qualify for against opposition they don't get to play in a location they weren't good enough to earn the right to play in!
Can't see them taking more than 20k to the play off final if they get through the semis

Rotherham would take more.
Any club would take more
Any club

Sick of hearing all these prim and proper I'm alright Jack twats with their condescending shit about how easy it all is.

Tens of thousands of people haven't got loyalty points because they don't go to games, but it doesn't stop them wanting to go to this particular game, same as the part time fans and daytrippers of every other club in the country.

Before anyone books time off work, before anyone can arrange baby sitters, or someone to look after mother or father with dementia, arrange transport, arrange hotels, consider who in their group can go or can't go, they need tickets.

Without tickets the whole thing falls apart

If there was 34000 tickets available and we get average attendances of 50,000 fair enough, but we don't.

There are seven or eight thousand more tickets available than we have attending games, there's no need for the delay and restrictions on who can buy them, it holds everybody's plans up until in the end they say "fuck it, its too late now"

These seven or eight thousand extra people are already not massively linked to United, they are just loosely attached to them in a "Yeah, I support United sort of, I prefer them to any other club" kind of way.

It doesn't take too much for these people to say "Aww fuck it, I'll watch it on telly"

So..... Looking at the website there are lots of blocks available but 90% of them are offering single seats on their own.

3 blocks have seats together with 2 with decent availability. One of them is £120 seats only though.

Do we know if there are any other blocks we haven't yet even started on yet? Because if these are what is left whilst it isn't selling out I'd estimate that its not a million miles off 34,000.

It's strange there hasn't been any number update. I'm hoping because its not that there is an embarrassing amount.

We should be taking 30k easy.
Let's be honest if we were playing a championship side etc. With a good chance we would probably sell out.

Gillingham took over 50,000 to Wembley for a play off final

Millwall took around 57,000

The reason,
Tickets were sold, no restrictions, no waiting around.

There are more tickets than our average attendance so everybody that wants to go can go, easily. There's no need for the loyalty points system to be so rigidly applied.

And if people want to slag off daytrippers it shows a very poor mentality,

Daytrippers are the "potential" fanbase, they obviously consider United or Millwall or Gillingham or whoever as their club, but the club hasn't done enough to make them regular attendees.
The women’s final allocation is 8,000 per team ! The expected crowd is 65,000. Must be full of Wednesday supporters looking to go to Wembley this century.

As much as I hate the piggy barstewards they will 1000% sell 25k plus minimum
think your probably right stan also hate to say it as well but think they would have sold out if they were playing city their once a season 10/15k part timers would all have turned up
