Reyt then, are we taking some bets for the 'view from'?

"Yeah their team is worth millions"

"Something something parachute payments"

"Yeah but we still scored and sharps a cunt"

Some literal bleating about lucky goals or not a pen

"Parachute payments (again)"

"Brewster coat 20 mill lol"

Also Souttar very impressive. Not out a foot wrong and looks pretty handy with ball at his feet.

Yep, will add I was really impressed with his distribution, a lot of it was just playing the simple ball but a lot of the time that's all you need to do

Good run out for a lot of the younger lads, hopefully that established a bit of a pecking order (see what I did there) in terms of who is realistically ready to be cover, and who might benefit from more regular games at a lower level, be that U21s or a loan

Really enjoyed watching this. Lots of positives.

Peck running the show.
Brewster looking lively (albeit missed pen)
Slimane showed some nice touches and first goal
RND back from injury
Souttar faultless
Goal for Marsh
Threatening from corners
Lots of goals
Through to next round
No notable injuries

Missed one against Blackpool in 22/23, can't remember him taking a penalty since then.

Mcburnie took most of our penalties last season with Norwood and Mcatee having one each I believe.
He also missed one in a league cup penalty shoot out we lost, doing the stuttering run up thing and it was saved. So he has 0/3 record for us.

Goals, plenty of endeavour, bit of a scrap at the end...good stuff.

Brewster generally did very well and looked good physically, but you just knew he'd miss the penalty.

Peck was absolutely class today, looks like he has a bit of everything to his game, and not shy of a tackle or some nice shit housing either.

Easily mom for me followed closely by soutter that mopped nearly everything up, grbic was having a decent game too(wow) until he let himself down with that 2nd goal.

Peck = Excellent. My god this kid has a bright future
Coulibaly = Liability. Get rid
Brewster = Played his heart out but he's trying too hard and his nerves seem to get the better of him when it comes to finishing
Souttar = Rock solid
Grbic = Ok at times. A good 3rd choice keeper at best
Slimane = Meh

A solid result considering we played our squad players, and we all know how light we are on those

I have just seen the United team!!!
What a joke. Wilder playing the reserves/ U21s. I won’t be watching it as I would only get angry when we lose. Anyone actually paying at BL to watch this side Wilder has put out must be bonkers.
I hope we win but I’m not holding my breath.
How wrong was I?
I watched it and was impressed with our youngsters .
Wilder knows more about football than an idiot like me. Thank goodness. UTB
