My fleeting thought about Bogle was that while he was better than we thought he was when he came into the team, recently, he's not been as good as he thinks he is.

But that's me mind-reading that he believes he can wander past defenders. Maybe just defenders are more alert to the danger he poses.
Easy to forget he's still young. Just needs to make better decisions. All too often he just crosses straight at a defender or runs into a blind alley when there are better options.

More of the same from recent weeks, all a bit flat but not necessarily poor. Would like to see Doyle introduced for Fleck sooner rather than later, purely due to fitness rather than performance. As always, would like to get Berge higher up the pitch and try up the tempo.

That was a great end of season game, ok we weren't ever in control of the game but when you think about the context and what's at stake I think we did well and you could see the passion of the players to get it over the line, I hope hecky emphasises that we are where we are because we're a great team and to remember that for the remainder of the season

Enjoyed that. Both teams played well. Nervy at the end but we deserved it having created the better chances.

McBurnie MOTM for me.

Osborn has been getting some flak recently, so to redress the balance I thought he was very good when he came on. The subs worked today.

Stroud was his usual self. Anyone else think he looks like Saul Goodman?

Tough game which was fairly even. Watford probably deserved a draw (and should have had a pen) but we'll take that. Great to get a clean sheet as well. That will boost confidence as much as the result. Scrappy game with both attacks causes defences issues. The squad seems to be getting stronger again, which is really needed.

Foderingham - 6 - Thought he looked iffy a couple of time with high balls but managed to grab hold of a couple. Little else to do.
Lowe - 4 - Got done twice first half, got booked and lucky not to give a penalty away for a clear shove. Looked poor all game.
Robinson - 5.5 - Gets pulled out of position far too easily and make stupid decisions to charge out. No idea what he was doing at the end with a couple of kamikaze charges forward and we almost got caught the second time as they played into the space he left.
Egan - 6.5 - Struggled with Davis all game. Got better as Davis tired but it was as mess in the middle with marking at times. Stuck to his task though.
Anel - 5.5 - Got booked again and now is out for two games. Yet again for a stupid bit of holding when he was turned. It's a booking stop grabbing people ffs. Got forward well on a few occasions. Unlucky with a left footed shot and made a couple of good crosses. He's so clumsy though and gives away stupid freekicks.
Fleck - 6 - Lacked mobility at times but was involved which much of our forward play first half. Good to have him back and we need him for the run-in.
Norwood - 6 - Get a shout for the corner which got us the goal. You can see him and McBurnie tried it first half and he overhit it. I thought the rest of his game was mixed.
Berge - 5.5 - When he gets on the ball he looks dangerous but how often does he hit the first man with crosses? Far too often. Off the ball he was poor first half but did improve slightly in the second.
Ndiaye - 7.5 - Kept going and was a menace throughout. Should have done better with a shot he snatched at but most of our best moments come through him. Having a bit of a dip in form but better today.
McBurnie - 8 - Seemed to win every header and his flick-ons were really dangerous first half. He games their CBs problems all
game and won every battle. He'll claim the goal but no chance.

subs:

Osborn - 7 - I thought we looked much more secure with him on the pitch for Lowe. He was tidy and stuck to his task well.
Doyle - 6.5 - Some lovely moments and skill on the ball. He added a bit more energy than Fleck but doesn't always make the best decisions.
Sharp - 5.5 - Used his nous but struggled to get hold of the ball. Always fights for it though.
Jebbo N/A

Hecky - 7 - After 2 defeats and conceding 6 goals we needed to sure things up and he brought Fleck in which helped. Even game but I thought the first two subs helped us. We did drop back a bit too much but we were tiring. Important win and clean sheet.

Watford. They matched us for all the game. They look iffy at the back but have some talent in attack. Davis hasn't scored for ages again and that may cost them. They'll feel hard done by but they lacked quality in the final third For all their creative players in midfield I thought Choudhury was their best player. Made a number of vital interceptions.
