Our ownership model should be the envy of almost any fans in the country - a local family of supporters who care deeply about the club and also happen to be stupendously rich. We’re also debt-free with a good supporter base and a relatively modern stadium. There’s absolutely no reason that we shouldn’t still be up there in the top half of the Prem, challenging for Europe and getting to cup finals here and there…

To allow us to get into the position where we’re dicing with relegation to the third tier every season, with their resources, is just disgracefully negligent at this point and people are getting sick of it. They need to either accept that they know sod all about running a modern football club and give their cash to someone who does, or just sell up. Which probably sounds ridiculous to someone on the outside but we’re at the stage where we’re willing to just take our chances now.

Not gonna happen mind. So I’ll be looking forward to trying to do a Birmingham in another stint in the 3rd div - although I wouldn’t remotely trust them to get that right either.

Haha, sorry you did ask 🙂
🤣 yep it makes no sense given your ownership model that you aren't at least challenging for the play offs each season. Going down and visiting some grounds u haven't been to for a while whilst having a reset might not be the worst thing that can happen as lower table mediocrity season after season leads to apathy. However I wouldn't advise spending 6 years uears down there like we did !

Trouble is that’s exactly what people sent when we came down from the Prem, and look how that’s going for us…

Then again I wouldn’t much fancy a season like you had last year, or Southampton are having now. I’d just settle for at least being in the hunt for the playoffs tbh, doesn’t feel like too much to ask 🙄

They sound like Kevin McCabe but with a lot more cash.

A think that might be a bit of a discredit to the lad, looked to me like he intentionally diverted it in with his right foot, poacher type goal.
looked that way from the kop but having seen the goal again it was a clever instinctive finish from moore
