Listened to a radio Stoke commentary on a dodgy stream on holiday and they reckoned we were totally dominant. They thought Stoke were never in it and said it looked like what it was, a lower table team vs one likely to go back up to the premier league

Unlike our team, our local radio sometimes gets things right

Worst 2 0 win in a long time, they didn't have to win the ball 2nd half we just gave it them. 2 comical goals but 3pts so onto the next game.

Good win for you guys today...don't know if you'll get automatically promoted but definitely top 6.

How many fouls does their 24 have to make before he's booked? That last one alone deserved a yellow. Not saying ours weren't deserved but he's a lot go for them with no punishment
Terrible ref today , didn't book them for a "revenge" foul , then booked Brewster for self same thing.
Anel booking very soft while Stoke got away with cynical shirt pulling & other fouls

But let Vinny off for a second yellow on exactly the same foul he got booked for.

Ref was not a factor today.

Wow...that Johansen save second half from Shackleton was fucking fantastic. 3-0 right there in most games. He made another coupe of very decent stops as well...could have been 4 or 5 today but for the old Rovrum Viking keeper.

I am no apologist for Moore - he often misses chances - but he ran himself into the ground today , even after a nasty back problem.
Many of his good runs across & through their defence were not spotted by teammates so no pass came
As for O'Hare , I still don't really see what role he plays and imo he doesn't affect the game enough to justify his starting place when Brooks is on the bench - I think Wilder has this unwarranted objection to having JRS & Brooks on the pitch together , plus a degree of favouritism for O'Hare.

He always runs himself into the ground to be fair to him, he does a lot of off the ball work, just a pity he never really looks like scoring, at the moment

Potter what's happened to you guys? With all thst Bet 365 money behind you I'd have expected better from you the last few seasons.

What a negative cunt you are, mind you I bet you are in a bad mood tonight, what is your long term prediction for the pigs match, go on tell us.

Agree, AnstonBlade1 predicts a defeat every single match and seems to hate United.
He's a regular poster when we're playing poorly and in a bad spell of results
but when we're winning a few and playing well...surprise...surprise, he takes a break from his forum.
Weird isn't it?.......anyone would think he was a Wednesday fan.

Regards the match....thought it was typical of most matches this season.
Again we were solid/ professional like we were deliberately playing in 2nd gear instead of being great.
We had full control of the match against a poor looking Stoke team
and didn't feel the need to risk pushing men forward trying to chase a 3 or 4-0 win.

We're still not clicking up front and Wilder still seems to be searching for the magic formula.
Thankfully we (again) had a great defence and don't really look like conceding, which is a great habit to have.
People might criticise the team but I do think we must have the best defence + goalie in the Championship.

Only 1 match this season (home to Luton) have we looked a definite top 2 side.
However all the other games we've looked more of a top 6 side, still think we're missing something in attack for us to finish in the top 2.
However plenty of the season left and the January transfer window could be key.
Suspect the Stoke striker Cannon might cut short his loan spell in Jan, so he might be available to us, if we push for it.

Our ownership model should be the envy of almost any fans in the country - a local family of supporters who care deeply about the club and also happen to be stupendously rich. We’re also debt-free with a good supporter base and a relatively modern stadium. There’s absolutely no reason that we shouldn’t still be up there in the top half of the Prem, challenging for Europe and getting to cup finals here and there…

To allow us to get into the position where we’re dicing with relegation to the third tier every season, with their resources, is just disgracefully negligent at this point and people are getting sick of it. They need to either accept that they know sod all about running a modern football club and give their cash to someone who does, or just sell up. Which probably sounds ridiculous to someone on the outside but we’re at the stage where we’re willing to just take our chances now.

Not gonna happen mind. So I’ll be looking forward to trying to do a Birmingham in another stint in the 3rd div - although I wouldn’t remotely trust them to get that right either.

Haha, sorry you did ask 🙂

thought moore was much better yesterday and his goal was a bit cuter than i first thought but o-hare wasnt in the game yet again even starting in a slightly different position i find it puzzling what wilder is seing every week to warrant him getting a starting role hes certainly better than what hes shown us might just be were the wrong club at the wrong time
