He is an England international who has played for Liverpool

You could argue we haven’t signed a striker with his pedigree in our history

He’s played alright regards movement and effort

But he’s had a stinker regards finishing chances.
Thought it was typical of his evening that the ball has just fell to him on on the edge of the box.
He tried a first time shot….totally scuffed/ miss kicked it and it went pass the post with no power.

Should have cleared with his left foot but he went with hid right foot and put it in his own net.

Was going to say Norwich just don’t look like scoring….they really remind me of us under Seles.
They seem happy to just keep possession and don’t seem to realise the object of the game is to score.

It’s the same pattern they look quite good but they overpass and don’t look like scoring.
We don’t look good but we’re more direct and you feel if any team is going to score then it’s us.

Selles made an unbelievable number of bad signings.

Matos, Soumare, Bindon, Barry - none of them are even close to being good enough for this level.

Even his marquee signing Tanganga is no more than OK.

It’s complete and utter toss… and shows why January is massive for us … loads of squad players that need shifting … also shows we will not mount a serious promotion challenge….

Fair play for previous 4 games though I never saw us going on 4 game winning run at any point this season
