Bamford would have had a hat trick if he had the chances Ings has had

Yeh you’re probably right…his 3 big chances were all pretty easy.

Nice play there from Chong showing a bit of class to set up an Ings tap in from 2 yards.
Don’t think even Ings could miss that. We’ve started the 2nd half really well. We’re quite direct but have more intent to score.

The hate for Ings is pathetic , he’s played well

He is an England international who has played for Liverpool

You could argue we have signed a striker with his pedigree in our history
He was shit for Liverpool and played for a poor England side. Remember we did once have Ian Rush

The Blades have been on the front foot ever since the restart and it's great work on this occasion from Tahith Chong, who gets to the byeline before setting up Ings, who has himself a tap-in inside the six-yard box.

I wouldn't say he had played well I will say he seems to get a hell of a lot of stick for not really much wrong he is getting in good positions and working the back line the header should have been a goal admittedly but have seen some shocking misses for other players that don't seem to get that stick. Ings is a good back up option and does a job when asked we know he isn't the quickest of strikers but always making the defenders who he is up against think.

He played 8 times for Liverpool because he did his cruciate at least once

He then went to Southampton and scored 22 goals in the prem 5 years ago

He’s played 200 plus prem games and played for England

Aye 40 years ago

Can't even get the SS+feed on my Firestick, but luckily the iFollow feed is good, with RSheff commentary.
