Brewster + Mousset with McGoldrick behind them is looking pretty exciting. Give it a go from the start please, Chris.
Mousset and Brewster certainly seem to have an understanding which is very encouraging seeing as due to injury they’ve likely not had much time together on the training pitch

Back to basics didsy in for McBurnie is a start. MOTM

Exactly this.....! Mcgoldrick playing the duffy role made a big difference, Brewster and Mouse worked well together.

Really hope we start with that setup next game

He also made a match winning save in the last minute.

Not sure how you blame him for our second but blindly defend Ramsdale for their second btw.
For the 2nd hendo was rooted to the line, didnt command his area when the corner came in. Ramsdale also made a great save earlier in the 2nd half. Annnnd I wasnt blindly defending ramsdale for their 2nd, what didnu want him to do, take out greenwood and give a pen away so chimps like you can moan at him for that?

Agree.....thought Mouset and Brewster looked a real threat late in the game.
If those 2 can get an understanding and come alive...we can start scoring.

With Didzy joining in support....for the first time this season we showed signs of having a proper attack.

Thought the irony tonight is with Berge going off injured....we had a perfect replacement in Lundstram...shame he wasn’t even on the bench.

Got our team back tonight!
Agreed we dipped after their third and heads dropped but Brewster and Mousset came on and looked very good as a pair and it lifted the team. But fuck me we need centrehalves desperately

Jags is naturally the replacement for when berge retires.

If David mcgoldrick got either of those gimmes in the same fixture last season, I am convinced he gets double figures for the season, and powers us to Europe.

Okay but you will defend Ramsdale for hesitating and pulling out of a challenge that he would have won easily if he’d not pissed about and just made the decision to come.

The fact you blame Henderson for the second goal is absolutely laughable. It cannons off the back of McGoldricks head what’s he supposed to do about it. Come and try and take the cross and clatter his defender in the process? It’s his defender who wins the header?

Two fortunate goals for us, but the effort was there, but little quality. Definitely better with McGoldrick, Brewster and Mousset in the side, they at least look on a similar wave length. Burke is an impact player to stretch teams in last 30.
