For those asking why Bindon was taken off, he was involved in a clash of heads just before half time, which left the Charlton player down for a while and Bindon looking a bit shakey. And no, I don't mean he got changed into his denims and started singing Green Door.
Shouldn't we have been able to make an extra sub then?

I have to give credit for the hard work shown in adversity. Could have been a heavy beating but we dug in and showed some guts
It would have been a heavy beating against 90% of the championship teams, but Nathan Jones and his team are pathetic. Goodness knows how they won 3.0 at Ipswich?

That would have been worth seeing.

If we had subed him he would havr had to serve aperiod
Might be wrong here but, the extra sub is for concussion protocol. If we'd gone down that route he'd have had to miss the next two games.i suppose
Yes i think you are right protocol would have kicked in.Boils down to whethet the doctor ruled him out due to possible concussion or just feelong sore.
Were in a fix if he is ruled out.

If you look at the sequence, the Charlton player heads into Bindon, it's very possible he has concussion which with proper protocols will mean he will need a least a week of recovery which is the appropriate thing to do

Whats annoying is we should have been 3-0 before the 1st red.

We was all over them and they was on the ropes in the 1st 30 mins. I have no doubt we'd have put a couple past them if it wasn't for the referee try hardening.

Bamford and Cannons shots was really poor and they should have scored (cannon on particular, had all the left side to aim at or chsnce to square it, he did neither and hit ot straight st the keeper), Soumares whilst unlucky to have hit the post should have done better and probsbly picked out top right corner that was begging to be hit.

Wilder said Bindon was ill - but not said its concussion.

👏👏👏

Support was immense today.

We should have been two or three clear by the time of the first sending off. I have seen a few angles of it and I think it is really harsh and a yellow at worst.

Have only seen one angle of the second which looks bad and the ref was clearly dying to send him off.

I quite like Charlton as a club, they remind me of a slightly shitter version of ourselves. They were fucking gash today tho and veery lucky to come out with all 3 points even against 9 men.

Is there a way to watch the away games other than dodgy stick or SL?
If you go down to the box office at the Lane and give the person behind the counter some money, they'll give you a little piece of printed paper called a 'ticket'. This enables you to get admission to whichever game is printed on the ticket. You have to make your own way to the away ground and back again, but it's only like going between your kitchen and your living room, just a bit further, that's all. Sometimes you'll have to show proof that you once donated a kidney to Jimmy Sirrell or sacrificed your firstborn to Harry Haslam and Danny Bergara (Bibberdy-Bobberdy-Boo) in order to get a 'ticket', otherwise you'll be left scrambling around in the dust for one with all the other part-timers and glory hunters.

It's not something that I do myself, but I'm told by those that do that it's a lot of fun and a jolly good wheeze. But ssshhhhhh! Keep it to yourself, otherwise every bugger will be doing it.

The getting a piece of printed paper for money doesn't sound as enticing as the magic beans offer I've had previously.

I do that for home games, but they have some magic on your phone. You put it near the reader and the gates magically allow you to go on. Beats the old cheque book style tickets we had when I was a lad.
I don’t do away games due to health reasons, but I’m pissed off paying for SL and not getting to see the games. I don’t want to go down the dodgy stick route so I’ll probably look at a VPN (I think) and SUTV.

What a bizarre feeling from yesterday's game

Thought we should have been 3 up before the first red. Second red ended the game completely. A point from the stage would have been good going.

To ship a goal so early I thought here we go.... But we kept in the game and with 9 men that's some achievement.

If we took our chances we would have won that even with 9.
