Not at all. However, ridiculing substitutions which lead to us winning and not conceding a single shot in the second half is just plain stupid. Some people just have to find something to complain about. Sad really
You're just in your own little world where everyone else is wrong and you're always right aren't you ?

Only substitution that was questionable today was Brewster for O'Hare, if you're bringing him on put him up front, he looks lost the couple of times he's come on deeper. Wilder seems reluctant to bring Moore off because he's an asset defensively late in the game (or would be in a match where the opposition offered anything in attack, which Derby didn't) but keeping him on limits the chances for Brewster and Campbell.

Seriki and Brooks were much better than Gilchrist and Rak Sakyi, the others might be loaned from Prem clubs but they're still just kids themselves. All have a part to play but I'd always go with Seriki and Brooks up the right whenever we're at home as they work so well as a pair.

My view on today's game, is that Souza should not be made Captain again, he didn't have his best game, and just doesn't understand the game enough, looked out of his depth trying to organise the players.

I'm not sold on Moore yet, he makes some good runs, he uses his strength, but seems scared to have a shot, and looks a bit lost on his own up top.

Rak-Sakyi looks like he should be behind Brooks in the line up. He looked slow an ponderous today, not what I expected from him given the hype!?

Anel and Souttar look really solid at the back, just wish they'd use their height better in the oppositions box.

Think we missed Blaster, but thought Peck did well.

O'Hare, well, hes a tryer, unfortunately his physic let's him down, and his speed seems hit n miss??

Another good display from Hamer, really is the best midfielder in the league...

Cooper, forgot he was playing!!, did exactly what he's here for, and another clean sheet!!

Thought Seriki n Brooks linked up well when introduced, and id still start Brooks over Rak-Sakyi!

Another win, 3 points, happy with that, shame we didn't get 3, but I'm liking the GAP at the moment!!!

Bigbed Souza played well I do not agree but you entitled to your opinion like everyone else. Souttar was brilliant the man of the match in my opinion. Hamer great freekick. Reminded me of The Ledgendary Alan Woodward.

No we arent not yet let’s see after the next 8 as we are going to be playing much stronger teams
Agree 100% with this statement. Yes we have made a great start, but the fixtures have been kind to us. October has some challenging matches for a side still growing in confidence.
Let’s see where we are on New Year’s Day?

Hamer's goalscoring is hiding the lack of contribution from OHare and Moore

It's rare that either would go so many games without scoring at this level for previous clubs

We've stupidly given ourselves no option but to start Moore every game but we can afford not to start OHare every time. He shouldn't be an automatic starter - it's not the optimal way to use him and I never thought it would be. 35 starts at most

i thought that was a great result today, all credit to derby, they were brilliant, they raised their game for the big occasion & we had to be right at it, we couldve lost that easily. the only criticism for all our dominance & chances we created. we couldn't score from open
We should be pleased West brom won 1-0 as did Sunderland who also missed chances...some set the expectation bar too high

I didn't say anyone played badly, and I agree Souttar was man of the match.
But I don't think Souza is the right man to Captain the team, he looked like he missed Blasters balance yesterday, and was shouting and pointing a lot, instead of realising he was the one that shouldve been moving into the space, especially from throw ins.

I agree with most of your points but would say that

4) we "build play" a touch too slowly and we play "in front of" opponents defence too much - so many times today we had a player on a wing with yards of green around & ahead of him - it was crying out for a quick pass beyond him for him to run onto but we never did it , much to my frustration.

7) we don't create the sort of chances that get put away - 3 times today Moore only had to slide a teammate in for a goal but he just can't do it , nor does he try to beat a defender and take a shot - it's about time he is dropped or at least hooked at HT for Campbell.
If it turns out that Campbell is worse then fair enough , put Moore back in , but we are going to suffer from all these missed opportunities once we encounter teams from the top half.

I honestly think that Brewster is fated not to bag for us - he needs a change of club - I would at least try Campbell before him.

None of Moore's opportunities to "slip someone in" were simple.
It was often the case that he was pushed quite wide by the pass and was stretching to make the cutback.

On top of this, O'Hare's movement wasn't brilliant. He had defenders on top of him every time which gave Moore a decision to make.

maybe it was spilting hairs a bit, but my worry is what if that happens in the derby. a game that shouldve been more comfortable than 1-0. when it's only no matter how dominant you leave yourself open

bit like reverse of man city last august where they were on top. couldnt finish us off & we nearly pulled off a sucker punch

We can't keep relying on Hamer fir goals ( bit like pigs with Bannon) other's have got to start converting those chances.

The most common shorelines in football are 2-1 and 1-0

At least I can say that I lived to see a total eclipse of Ben Osborn. When Harry Souttar passed my vision there wasn't even a fiery halo of little Ben's fair hair to be seen. In fact most of the Bramall Lane end disappeared from view also.
