Taking away the fact we absolutely gifted them two goals a draw would have been a fair result.

Once again I don’t think we won any crosses.
We have no one with any aerial ability up front.
Getting rid of Kieffer looks moore and moore (sorry) like a tragic error. Let him go for peanuts too.
We’re left with a forward line that is weaker than F.

We are horribly out of luck too.
Whether it’s Tanganga’s knee or a ghastly errant Peck backpass
, nothing of that sort is going our way at the other end.

All in all it really does look like a relegation season. When you lose to a bunch of cloggers like Derby the writing is clearly on the wall.
We probably need to accept that now and survival is a bonus this year.

Have to say O’Hare was fabulous today. If only the rest put in half the amount of energy.
🫣 FFS, Jesus wept. Some fans just can’t see it can they? 😡

its been a long while since Ive seen us that bad in the 2nd tier. that game reminded me of Shrewsbury nearly 10 yrs ago when we made a poor team look fantastic

cant string 2 attacking passes together & decision making is baffling. we have many players who are hugely underperforming for whatever reason. Campbell, Peck, burrows

The mistake wasn't getting rid of Wilder, he proved last season he bottles it when under pressure, but the appointment of Selles, if they had gone for another manager things would have been different
Unfortunately this bad run started at Oxford in April when we had Ahmedhodzic and Souza. We'll never know whether Wilder would have rectified things in the summer but the appointment of Selles was mind blowingly stupid.

A rigid game plan. 4-4-1-1 formation that we played until the 96th minute. No urgency even after getting a goal back. No centre backs pushed forward just to give them something different to think about. Playing players out of position constantly Tanganga. Bewildering subs Matos at RB! Favourites knowing they will never be dropped or even subbed Peck. Players bombed out when we are crying out for someone to play in that position Seriki. Players constantly unfit Davies. Peck being asked to mark Morris at corners. He was still doing it second half. Its tactically inept and concerning that we are now back in a rut

Yes we have Hamer and Arblaster out injured but to persevere with the same tactics week in week out is just insane. At 0-1 today you just knew we would not change the way we played. Peck and Matos didn't help matters but this blind obsession that the formation can't change is sending us down to league 1.

All the bluster about fitness, signings and the previous manager can't disguise the fact we are in a relegation battle. Until the manager realises he has to change formation to get the best out of his players and stop being obsessed with stats to try and justify losses then we will continue to flounder.

Well, no, although I'm only a bystander. My team won 0-2, but I'm still pissed off at how shite the Blades were 💩 but "JTW" should not be a thing 🫣🫣🫣🤣
Didn't know you weren't a Blade 🤷🏼‍♂️
It's a forum, people use acronyms. Get used to it.

Hilarious. By the same token, if they'd not scored 3 goals we would have won!

We were shite throughout.

Pecks pass sums us up really - drilled to go backwards first - no thought of anything else. We are getting left way behind as younger, more progressive managers move their teams forwards. We are stuck in Wilder world now - and its not ever going to take us where we want to go.
Wilder's World. Now there's a Hollywood blockbuster.

Yes he’s clearly partly at fault for it but far from the main culprit. The first manager appointment and our transfer business were the big start of the downfall. He’s inherited a bunch of players he had nothing to do with putting together and everyone can see the issues throughout the squad that weren’t addressed.
Wilder has been part and parcel of this club for so many seasons now. If we had a shit transfer window it's in part to wilder not addressing very obvious issues in defence and attack, We've spunked money in the last window bringing in central defenders as we had none, we still don't have a right back, other than seriki who seemingly must have scratched wilders car as he's nowhere in sight. We can't have both versions of wilder, he either owns the errors or he isn't responsible, in which case what's he been doing!

I’m far from a Wilder fan boy but you can’t blame a bad transfer window on someone who wasn’t here. We had no centre half’s because the ones we did have left in the summer, again not really down to him.

Mistakes have been made from the owners all the way down which is why we are in this current mess.

Please note, all of you who led the wilder is king vote , please tonight have a look in the mirror and give yourselves a head wobble. I've already said I grudgingly support him whilst he has the job .
And before you start attacking, no I don't know who could replace him as I don't know who's out there available.
Horrible turgid football where his little favourites who can do no wrong in his eyes because they know support of him keeps their appearance bonuses keep coming.
The back 3 isn't particularly a problem they've just got nothing in front of them !!!
The club needs gutting from top to bottom if that means a couple of seasons back in league 1 then so be it .
The back line is a massive problem, shipping goals for fun

O'Hare deserved that one, the only united player that's trying.
Exactly, yet the board and many supporters thought wilder coming back would make all the players world beaters. Time to look beyond the player's and closer to home, ie/ the manager, ( BUT NOT ONLY THE MANAGER), but his sidekicks as well. I read more than one post on here saying that if wilder came back, they really hoped it would be with a new refreshing, up to date, tactically astute coach, everything Knill is not. Wilder has many faults, and one of the biggest is his continuous loyalty to staff and players alike regardless of their constant failings.

I agree in part, the owners aren't covering themselves but where was the forward planning from wilder and team? It was obvious anel was leaving, we had 2 loan CBs and one wasn't played as wilder was ensuring Jacky fucking long throw could force a contract extension through. We had 3 right backs and played a midfielder on loan in that position. The same reasons Clough was rightly chased out should be the same reason we chased wilder out, he's taking us down and no nostalgia will change that.

Part of the reason we had no centre backs is because we didn't sign anyone in January when we needed it, Wilder was here then and preferred a striker that doesn't score or contribute anything else to the team.

As you watch look for the centre halves having to move into areas where the midfielders should be , "patterns of play !! " 11 players who should all know their jobs, not 10 others covering for people who think entitlement of the managers favouritism covers their place !!!

According to Chris post match he doesn't "think we are a million miles off winning games and being a decent side".

Not a million miles off.

For some reason that reminds me of a Labour Party spokesman after the Caerphilly by-election.
Oddly enough, that was the distance that I thought we were from winning today.

Travelling to Coventry Tuesday and fear the worst. My verdict so far is that this is a really poor Blades team and survival might unfortunately rely on 3 teams being shitter than we clearly are.

I’ve stopped watching them. It’s like he’s detached from what’s actually happening.

I honestly don't think it would matter which manager was at the Lane atm, the recruitment in the transfer window has proved to fcking shocking(not down to Wilder), so roll on JTW and hope Wilder can get rid of loanees and bring some firepower in.
If anyone thinks that our current predicament is nothing to do with CW, I've a bridge to sell you.

This started with the PL1 implosion and his subsequent failures, including the business he and the Prince did while being handed the biggest war chest anyone has had in my lifetime.

Take the red and white spectacles off and look harder.
