Just for anyone interested in fixtures, Middlesbrough have Cardiff (H), Stoke (H), and Preston (A). Millwall have Peterborough (H), Bournemouth (A)

Fulham have 2 home games b4 we play them, so they will be champions at their ground and they will have had all the fuss and bolloks and (hopefully) be half pissed when they come to the Lane

And hopefully Mitrovic has gone on his holiday 😎

The all important 3-points today and a step closer to the play-off. Cardiff looked half on the beach so I expect Boro to beat them in thew week.

We started off really poorly and gave the ball away badly at the back. Very lucky not to go behind. slowly came back into it and had the slightly better first half and unlucky not to score ourselves. We dominated the second half without creating that much. Great goal and Berge should have scored as well. We looked more solid at the back second half.

Foderingham - 4.5 - Terrible pass to their striker and weak punch from a cross which could have gone anyway. Incredibly lucky not to give a goal away.
Stevens - 5 - Poor first half and got beaten far too easily. Also sloppy with the ball. Got a bit more solid second half.
Robinson - 6 - Mixed. Some very good play and also some sloppy play. Got distracted by Hugil. Better second half
Egan - 6 - Poor early on and lucky to get away with it. Turned like a Harry Maguire at one point. Got better as the game went on.
Basham - 6 - A nothing game for him really. Did ok and calm on the ball.
Osborn - 6 - Looks so awkward on his wrong foot but not sure what else we can really do. Had a good first time shot first half and looked lively. Did some good defensive work second half but sloppy as well at times.
Fleck - 6 - Bit of a nothing game but better in the second half. Their midfield had too much time first half and that was shut down in the second.
Norwood - 5.5 - Thought he was a frustrating mix of good and bad today. Some good passing but also a bit wasteful
Berge - 6.5 - Such a strange player. He looks so slow but regularly gets passed men as well. Should really have scored second half but a better and much more involved game from him.
Ndiaye - 6 - I thought he was poor first half. Nothing stuck and he kept giving the ball away. Much better in the second and good workrate, but feeling his hamstring before coming off.
MGW - 7 - Frustrating at times and really needs to learn when to just hold the ball. Our best attacks come from him though and great cross for the first and almost set Berge up.

Subs

Sharp - 6 - Did ok. bit slow with one chance but did well a couple of other times. 3/10 for his dive for a pen.

Hecky - 7 - We were sloppy in the first half and their midfield had way too much time on the ball. On the few occasions they got the ball in our half they looked dangerous. Tightened things up second half. Push the defenders up a bit and but that out.

Cardiff - A good team would have scored at least one against us first half and they were far from that. Their strikers looked like they were on the beach. Drameh looked good for them and gave Stevens the run around but their keeper was impressive.

Signs of improvement from the shot shy Blades today. Worked harder and controlled the game better though Wes had a dose of the jitters.

Job well done.

Another WIN for the BLADES and another CLEAN sheet by the super Foderingham. Shame Berge could not of put one of those few chances he had this afternoon away to make it a bigger result and to boost Utd GF

The number of times we got Osborn down the right hand side but he had to recycle it, sometimes all the way to the keeper.
I have never seen such a one footed player so why play him right back, meaning that we have limited delivery from that side.
bash should have been rwb and the silent assassin playing inside him.
yes Osborn runs around a lot and will do a job any where other than down the right

good win & much needed because lose to today or capitulate like we did at Easter & we were going the same way of West Brom, Blackburn, Middlesbrough & QPR. millwall were going to be in 6th. feared the worse because those 1st 15 mins were shocking & really we shouldve been behind

brilliant header for the goal, Ndiaye had grown in many ways since September. ive been moaning for alot of the season. how its incredible the amount of times we put decent crosses in to the box only for there to be no one to be in there to take advantage or at all & youve got to love Sharp, even at 37. he transformed our attacking threat almost instantly as soon as he came on.

looking at our play off chances. which if Middlesbrough dont win & we do. it sorted by friday night. that high line terrifies me. we are so open & need to come back 10 yards as we dont have pace & we cant be on the halfway line with better players. but being positive all thats missing. is we need to be more clinical as we are creating chances & who knows what we can do

Sadly we did !!!!
He played alright to be fair didn't he. I maintain its too square a peg in a round hole though and would've preferred to have seen us change things up to accommodate an actual full back in Uremovic. A better side would've had a field day against Osborn. Still, we got 3 points and that's what matters at this stage.

I stopped there for a day or two a few years back while travelling from Broome to Perth. It's an amazing part of the world, would love to take my kids there one day.
I'd definitely recommend it!! We spent a week based in Exmouth and travelled up and down the coast.
Turquoise Bay is awesome for snorkelling (current lets you drift over the coral but be careful as you get to the sandbank as it creates a fairly strong rip that can drag you out to the reef)
We did a swim with Whale Sharks and that was one of the best things I've ever done!!
Also Did Kalbarri on the way up and Monkey Mia on the way back.
Do you live in Perth?

No unfortunately not! I live in Southampton but spent a year in Australia a while back. I loved the West Coast and would be back there tomorrow if I could! The national parks were incredible
