His overall play was ok nothing more nothing less, battled all game I will give him that. But he offers a zero goal threat, should have scored a hatrick with 3 clear cut chances, he’s not got it in him. That is not hate it is just my opinion and my worry is we are going to stick with him for a run of games which will be to the detriment to the team and players like Ndiaye who are what you call a goal threat. If this was Oli Burke playing just ok without being a goal threat he would get pelters I’m sure you would agree? In all my time watching United I’ve never seen a player who has a group of fans backing him regardless of if he can do the job he is paid to do, no other player has ever had this blind faith that I can remember, it’s bordering on weird tbh. As I said above he did ok today but he is paid to score goals, he is not doing this so someone who can score should never be on the bench instead of McB.
