Robinson

It was a difficult game for him to come in to. Thrown in at the deep end so to say.

But he has looked well out of his depth before tonight and should, realistically, be out the 18 now.

UTB

He had the ball down the left at one point and under hardly any pressure put it out for a goal kick....he didn't track back and offered zero attacking threat.....

One positive was that it should leave CW in no doubt we need something else up top in January for sure....

Barely noticed him to be honest, which I think is a bad thing 🤷‍♂️

He has a tendency of "pressing" without being anywhere near causing a problem for the opponent, let alone winning the ball. While teammates throw themselves into tackles I find myself wondering if someone have kidnapped a relative of his and are forcing him to never intercept opposition passes. Alternatively he could be really low on confidence. He did have some neat touches today, but we need a lot more than that.

I thought he was ok first half, certainly one of his better performances for us. I really wanted him to be a success here, looked great in pre season but he has some way to go yet & I am not ruling out the possibility he can.

I think he’s a perfect example of a player who is unable to make the step up to PL. I truly believe Clarke would offer more at this point.....

I understand why he was selected, with his pace. However without McGoldrick to boss the space, the front 2 looked a little starved up front.

for me though Robinson looks a little light, he needs to add a few pounds to muscle defenders, something that McBurnie seems to have added to hosover the last 2-3 months.

I suspect by the start of the next season he’ll be at the right level to challenge a starting place up front week in week out.

His pace is a myth, he hasn't got any.

I do agree he'll be ready to challenge for a starting place next season, hopefully back at Preston.

Oh then I do apologise, I thought you were asking for everyone`s agreement but it seems you already have Wilders

Let's flip this. You tell me what he does that makes him good enough to start? Or you just digging for an argument?
