Robinson

Well it was Lundstram, then McBurnie, now its Robinsons turn to be supported by goldfish gobshites - give the guy a season at least - it is the toughest league in the world - he was playing for Preston 6month ago now he's up against Double Pl Champions FFS. If CWAK see they are the better judges.

I've not read all the posts about him, just back from city and too tired. Just to say that CWAK will either make a player out of him, or they'll off-load him. We have to be patient.

It was a difficult game for him to come in to. Thrown in at the deep end so to say.

But he has looked well out of his depth before tonight and should, realistically, be out the 18 now.

UTB
You dud t see Chelsea game no. Or his assist for the equalizer against man unitef ?

The thinking was we were going to struggle to play through them today, the game plan was to defend and hit the channels which explained the selection, and that's exactly what we did

For what its worth I think he was recruited to play left of a front 3. CWAK were preparing for a formation change should our back 3 struggle. As such We havnt struggled but he has. I don't see him adapting his game either to suit. All well and good having him in the squad but we can't carry players now we are Ltd to 25 so if we can replace him in Jan id let him go out in Loan

Here we go again we don't win so instantly we have to have a scapegoat. The other week it was McBurnie until he won us the game at Brighton nowt at all said about McGoldrick's misses or the fact that Mousset missed two good chances, the only one he put away is called offside FFS.

What the fucking hell is wrong with you ?. A supporter supporting one of your own teams players, are you on drugs or something ?. You forgot to add Didzy to the list as a watered down scapegoat. The burning sticks are being readied to drive Robbo out of town.

I foolishly came on here thinking that we would be lauding the performances of Fleck, Norwood, O'Connel, Baldock, Stevens, Egan etc etc. But no we find someone asked to do a thankless job and beat him up because he was not great. I thought he certainly put himself about and tried stuff but looked severely lacking in confidence. One time Walker feigned to tackle him and he nearly jumped out of his skin. There is a player in there as the cross today and the assist Vs Man U showed.

Give him time and the backing we are giving to McGoldrick and I think he will come good. He might not make it, but he has a far better chance with our backing than without it.

Yes, Robinson, the player who was just lucky to get that ball across to Oli McBurnie to equalise against ManUre at the Lane only a few weeks back.

Also scored against Chelsea away, thus heralding an epic fightback to get a point there.

More than prepared to give him a full season myself - bits of his game are good and when he gets in good areas he often makes a telling contribution. Those moments have sadly been few and far between and you do wonder how much he’s taking on board from the coaching staff because they’ll have noticed his lack of pressing etc. Hopefully it’ll click for him at some point as it has done with McBurnie but he’s certainly a way to go.

Put a decent ball in from the left that Mousset headed wide. That was pretty much it all game for him though. Might be OK as a left winger if we ever change formation to use them as he always looks the best when he's out on the wings putting a cross in or taking a man on, but don't think he's cut out for playing central.

He looks really short on confidence ATM.
Maybe send by I'm out on loan in Jan and get someone else in as a replacement? Either a loan (If Besis signs perm) or a perm.

I've not been convinced by Robinson yet, but I didn't think he was 'too bad' yesterday, at all. Het got wide and helped stretched them, creating a couple of chances. I'm not sure he will be here in the long-term, but then I thought then I thought that about Lundstram too.

We’ve a problem at the top of the pitch in that McBurnie and Robinson are both still seemingly adapting to life at the top level and we are having to develop them. So when Mousset is shagged after 30 minutes it’s becoming an issue. We need another option up top if we want to keep pace with, say, Wolves - they are clinical up top.
