Soumare worries me when facing his own goal much more than when facing the opponents. He struggles when recieving the ball from the backline/goalkeeper. He's one of very few players we have who has the capacity to cover ground quickly in offensive/defensive transitions.

If you could grab him for a couple of million tops then I'd be tempted. He can do things none of our other midfielders can do but he's very inconsistent.

I'm amazed when people call him shit, as he's clearly not at all. Seems to do better starting a game. Maybe he struggles to adapt to the pace as a substitute?

Not the only one. The whole team post subs seems to not have a clue what theyre doing...

Soumare had a good game last night and is capable, but far too inconsistent and struggles when teams press him.

What I have noticed though is, that he has the worst shooting ability of any player to ever pull on the red and white shirt. If someone produced a highlight reel of his shots at goal, his agent would pay a lot of money for the rights!!

In fact, I’d go as far as to say, Diana Ross strikes a better ball than him

I don't know about shite shooter. We've had some in our times at the Lane. Kozluk, Monty, M Doyle ... and many more couldn't hit a cow's backside with a banjo when the opportunity to hit the target came about. Surprised everyone at the back of the kop didn't all get gloves on when Kozzy was playing

Great on the ball can tackle can beat a man and can play the ball forward

He hasn’t actually been inconsistent

He has been our best midfielder for a while
