Devastating news one of the best. Thoughts go out to Kev and the rest of the family. RIP Jonny

Sad news,consolences to all concerned...RIP .

First time post. As a Canadian blade who hasn't been back to the lane in years jonny (and SV) was a god send. His content captured the feel of the match day experience like no other and really helped reignite me and my brother's passion for the club.

Even though I didn't know him it still hurts. I cannot imagine what his family is going through. His video production talent and passion for the club wont be forgotten!

My thoughts go out to his family and close friends.

RIP Jonny ⚔️⚔️⚔️❤️❤️❤️

I can't get my head round it. I certainly wouldn't say I was a close friend but I spoke to him almost every week regarding doing videos for Beer and Breakfast. He seemed to be on the right track after a really shit month or so.

There's a reason so many people continued to do videos for his channel year after year and it's because he was such a genuinely lovely and honest guy. God knows what his closest friends and family are thinking because I'm just stunned

Feel for his family, friends, acquaintances. So very sad news for all. May he rest in peace.

RIP Jonny, saw him and the Shoreham View guys/girls a few times on various away days over the last few years.

Absolutely shocking news. Love and thoughts to his family, friends and everyone else affected by this - he will be missed by so many

Loved Shoreham View. Beer n Breakfast was great. Spoke to him.a few times. Lovely bloke.

Thoughts to his family and friends.

Sleep tight Blade x

I won't go into detail but my MH is shit. I was winning then I got a kick today. An hour later I saw his dad's post...let's just say it soon put my problems in perspective

Thing is mate, perspective is great but it's not as easy said as done.

Never feel bad for feeling low just because others have it worse ❤️

What dreadful news, l loved his wit and obvious love for the Blade's and his family and friends.
May the memories of great time's together sustain them all at this dreadful time's.
May he rest in peace

I’m completely and utterly devastated.
Before we had an inkling about doing a podcast, Chad and I watched the SV Vlogs every week. It was my way of feeling like I had a seat at BDTBL 5000+ miles away. Getting to finally meet Jonny at Sunderland two seasons ago and then working with him, for however brief a time it was, was an honour.

Talking about mental health is sadly stigmatized (especially for men) in both the United States and UK but if you are reading this message, even if I don’t know you please feel free to reach out.

Rest in peace Jonny. Forever a Blade.

A tribute vid from Jimmy Ramble ( not watched it all )
It's a very emotional watch, hats off to Jimmy for doing it, its something that's really hit him.

Mental Health is a serious issue, and it affects many of us.
So think on when your posting your stupid hurtful shite, it might just have consequences!!!
We've all done it, but it needs to stop.

RIP!!🙏

Awful Awful news

Never met him but have regularly watched his videos over the years so feel like I know him somewhat

Condolences to his family and the guys who he made the videos with, hopefully, the club do something fitting for him at the weekend which I'm sure they will

I don’t know this blade but have lurked and watched. I do know mental illness and he she who ever it is, is a bastard. RIP man and all who suffer talk to a mate at least 🙏

I wouldn’t say I knew Johnny that well but certainly spoke to him quite a bit and stood with him and his family and friends at most home games a few years back and also drank with them before and after games.
I’m certainly no tech wizard and have never made more than a wobbly video on my phone but his editing skills certainly seemed top notch, I often thought privately that the club could do with someone like him on the social media team because his content was that well made (obviously he would’ve had to have been media trained about his language !)
His dad Kev is one of the nicest blokes you’ll ever meet and his uncle Rob one of the most knowledgeable blades I’ve ever met. Huge condolences to the Gascoigne family, especially to his son and daughter.
We all have problems with mental heath, I 100% believe everyone struggles but sometimes it’s just too much for some people and they fully believe they’re better off not walking amongst us. Johnny certainly was better walking amongst us but now he’ll join plenty of other blades standing on the kop upstairs.

I’m sure as a fan base we’ll do something for him in the coming days.

RIP Johnny

Only just seen this. Gutted, so sad. I can't really add anymore than what anyone else has said but feel in shock, numb really.

Tragic news and I’m so saddened that he had to deal with those challenges and got to a place where he felt he could no longer continue. It must be truly heartbreaking for his family to come to terms with.

Just last week he did quite a long message on mental health and to hear this is heartbreaking. I never met him other than in passing at the lane but felt like you knew him and all the Shoreham View lads through watching the vlogs.
