It's actually really well done - with Nick, Hal and Big Kev. I don't even watch sad movies because I hate to get teared up, but they've done this really well. More of a celebratory chat about what a good lad Jonny was, as opposed to focusing on the sadness of losing him. Kev is so strong to have even considered doing this, and hats off to him. Nick and Hal hosted it brilliantly.

A recommended watch for all blades
Hal is a clever bloke, and a class act, I knew he'd do it tastefully and in the right way. I just don't know his dad, and I can't think of anything worse than my old man having to speak about me in public so shortly after I'd gone. Cheers for the recommendation though, I'll definitely give it a watch now.

Just watched that whilst still in Portsmouth. Found it very moving. As big Kevin said the content wasn't everyone's cup of tea and I suppose I was one of them. Doesn't alter the fact that the vlogs were very entertaining and Jonny seemed to catch good quality action from the games.
Its terrible that many very talented people have such seemingly uncontrollable demons.

I’ve been with you Kev at a few games, you’ll not know me from my username and I don’t know what your username is on here but I’m sure you’re on here anyway.. we all loved jonnys videos and have given out our love to him on this thread and in various other means on the internet but I’d just like to say, Kev, you’re genuinely one of nicest blokes I’ve ever met through Sheffield United too in the limited times I’ve spoke to you, along with your brother big Rob… even though Rob shoves you three seats to the left or right during a match without realising he’s doing it !!!
Your whole family and the group of you that go to games are a credit to Sheffield United’s fanbase. Also credit where it’s due to other fans of clubs around the country for the messages I’ve seen from them most notably Milwall that I know your family has history with and also dare I say it that other lot from across the city Sheffield Wednesday. It just goes to show that we can all come together when it hits hardest.
Keep your chins up the Gascoignes one of the biggest blades families out there.

To everybody who knew Jonny, and especially his family, my heartfelt condolences. Please take what I'm about put in the manner it is meant - a tribute to Jonny -and not a slur. I've posted before on threads about social media content and fans involvement. As I've said before I don't get it. I really don't understand this world where everybody wants to be a 'pseudo celebrity'. HOWEVER, now that I've watched some of Jonny's stuff in depth (I'd only ever taken a cursory glance at it a few times previously, seeing it as another 'wannabee' type thing) it is obvious he was entirely the opposite of the this.

You can see in his material that he loved doing what he did - he wasn't in this to say 'hey folks look at me, aren't I great, aren't I a really cool knowledgeable guy, wooooh what fun I have. He was doing it because it was 'his thing', he wasn't a follower, he was an innovative pioneer. He came across as the type of bloke who would have fitted like a hand in glove with me and my mates at matches. A whacky, funny, moody, crazy, FANTASTIC person.

I can't even imagine what must have been going on in his head with his personal daemons - we all have them of course, definitely me included - but the poor bloke must have been having a nightmare. I also can't imagine what his close family are going through - as Kev says on SUW - no parent should be burying a child. It's heartbreaking.

So let me leave this with ........... Jonny, you were fuckin fantastic. You were the real deal mate. You were so talented and it's a tragedy for you and your family that you never got the breaks to fulfil your true potential. RIP Blademan

Out of interest has anyone given the Swansea fans the heads up about the tribute? I’m sure the vast majority at least would want to join in.

Long term members will remember Jehovah. This brings back the pain of him leaving us in sad circumstance. Heartfelt condolences to Jonny's family and friends.
