Steelcitysenior I'm like you been to all them games, I took my youngest to Wolves games he's nearly 35 now, but he was gutted I don't think I've seen so many heartbroken children as that day. As you say United are a lifelong love affair and we go back no matter what, Walsall was bad and many other bad days but I do try to remember the good times. It's not hard we ain't had many lol, I would never swap being a Blade met some great mates had Tony Currie sat on me sofa so I'm a happy old man.Was at swillsboro for 4.0. Watched us drop to the 4th division against Walsall. Been to all the playoff finals, cup semis since the Wendy at Wembley.
My lads first experience was Wolves at the millennium stadium, couldn't get a word out of him for 3 days after.
After all that disappointment have we lost our love for the Blades?, no feckin way, this is a lifelong love for my team and onwards and upwards. UTB.
I agree with West Yorks Blade, with Wilder fans had someone to identify with, he was one of ours he wasn't a happy badge kisser, he was a true loyal Blade sadly it's not ended how we'd have all liked.
