I know it might be difficult, but it's Friday. So this is a thread for outright positivity, happy thoughts and mirthful musings... because while being a Blade might mostly mean being miserable, there must be a reason we are Blades :)

So let's make a list...

1) We do not play in blue and white.

Blue is an awful colour.

2) We do not have teddies on our shirts.

That would look silly.

3) We have been to Wembley within the last year.

And it was a great day out, until the football...

Over to you...

Oh a couple from me.....

cheap as chips is nearer to leaving BDTBL an our gerts new hairdoo looks wonderfull.

5. I'm back in Sheffield tonight for 2 days of drinking and carousing. (which is cheering me up, but maybe not anyone else)

6. We win more games than we lose in the Championship.
The PL is rubbish

The key to happiness is not to fight harder for the things you want, but to control those wants in the first instance.

More money just leads to higher bills. Success just leads to higher expectations. Round and round we go, always ending up in the same place.

Sit back, bask in the glow of the red and white stripes, and smile.

Inspirational!

My tickets for Echo and the Bunnymen have just arrived. I've been in a daze for days.

11. Even Pig fans like Cresswell and France want to play for the big team in Sheffield

We don't use our ground as a swimming pool in the close season for extra cash

13. We've got a cracking ground, good numbers of support and the tickets at the Lane are relatively cheap in comparison to other clubs. Oh aye, and you can get beer on the Kop.

I'm not missing a game to go and see the Rhinos thrash Saints at Old Trafford tomorrow.

(last season I missed the 3-0n home win over Bristol City)

Own up.......... are you McCabe,Blackwell or 'our terry'? :D

we've got numpties like Beighton to remind us however low we fall, there's always someone lower.....:)

UTB

I never have, and never will, unless a substantial sum of money is involved, been capable of cheering for Wednesday. If they were to play against a side of demons for the souls of us all then I'll have Beelzebub and his evil minions sticking their tridents up my bum for all eternity please. At least hell is red.

I'd cheer them on for a big wad of cash, but it would need to be a bloody big one. Euromillions rollover big. Otherwise fuck 'em.:D

We will always have that night when Christian Nade (and Jags) brought the pride of Arsenal to their knees at BDTBL - and the night we came back from the dead to beat Coventry on penalties - and the night we humbled Liverpool in the cup - and when Jags and Nuddy beat Leeds in extra time - and when TC sat on the ball against the Gooners - and - and - and

They can never take these moments from us :D

No football means there is absolutely no rush/reason to get out of bed tomorrow... which looking outside at the miserable weather, sounds good to me.

I have one guaranteed draw on my pools coupon each week

Just need another seven sides as consistent as we are and I will be a millionaire

There won't be any booing at the lane this weekend.

I know a 4 month old boy who is going to get a lot of pleasure and enjoyment from going to the Lane as a nipper, just as much as i did when i was kid, and the future is bright if he and his generation love it as much as i did at that age
