#21 Give thanks you are not in Winipeg this weekend. My wife went to work on Friday wearing her sandals. When we came out of the movie that night there was two inches of snow on the ground. That's Fall in Winnipeg, wish you were here.

I don't think there's a great deal of footballing reasons to be cheerful this week.

Australian striker Brendon Santalab scored the only goal of the game as Chengdu Blades secured their CSL status with three vital points against Jiangsu Shuntian over the weekend.

The Blades started positively, despite missing former Blades defender Sun Jihai through injury, with Wang Song heading narrowly over.

This will prevent you feeling you have to take a minute out of your obviously thrilling day to deign to make a sarcastic comment.

My reason to be sort of cheerful. I was in Myanmar for the last few days with no mobile roaming and no internet access, so I didn't find out the score from Saturday until just now. Accordingly, my holiday was not ruined. Thank heavens for UN sanctions.

We don't have to live in Blackpool. The sooner that place is lost to coastal erosion the better.
