The ref was responsible for the second goal as he should have given us a Free kick at the other end.

However 1-0 would have been enough for Burnley today, we would not have scored, or even created a chance , if we played until Friday

I knew that wasn't offside. I was sure Moore was coming from deep in front of the defender.

The ref and Lino were awful from minute 1to 90 . But they were superior all over the pitch,not a shot on goal from us and a controlled performance from them.We had no shape in the second half and why subs weren’t brought on after their 2nd was strange. We could have took off 3/4 players who were off it but the bench was so lightweight. Wilders post match was a different game to what we saw but we have done great up to now,The alarming worry to me is that we have played 3 decent teams and got beaten easily.

I was in direct eyeline with Moore and the referee when Moores jersey was pulled and stretched out about 2 to3 feet. He didn't miss it he saw it but decided not to blow it.

They didn’t score directly from the free kick. In fact the wall did its job. The rebound out falls to one of them who thumps it and it takes a wicked deflection. How the hell is that an inability to defend a free kick. Unless of course you expect the players in the wall to perfectly control and clear a shot from 10 yards away.

O’Hare was off based on the tv angle, Hamer delayed the pass. Moore was well on.

Burnley like to rough it up, but then fall down like fannies at the first opportunity when it suits them, and he fell for it every time.

Their 2nd goal also came about because of his incompetence.

I didn’t think the ref was great but we were rightfully beaten & I don’t think him being poor was the reason we lost. They were the better team, I don’t agree with Wilders comments that it was an even game.

They always looked comfortable when we were attacking where as they switched play quickly and always won the second ball.

Burnley deserved to win but I still think it's fair to call it an even game. They didn't dominate the ball, they didn't create loads of chances, we had more xG and shots. It was tight, they found a moment of quality for the goal and some luck for the 2nd, we didn't.

Didn't think the ref was that bad tbh though besides blowing up while Davies was attacking a couple of times and the O'Hare advantage.
