Going down that line, Pulis, no better than Monk, your still going down and it cost chancer a million give or take to sack monk and replace him with Pulis lol

Did anyone actually watch Henderson at the weekend? He was terrible. I'm not convinced Ramsdale is significantly worse than him, but is getting constantly berated for not being him, despite Henderson having some very dodgy decisions of his own. Personally, I don't think we'd be any better off if we'd spent £Xmil on a loan fee vs buying an asset of our own. But I guess we'll never really know
 
Stegosaurus were effectively a vegan dinosaur.

Ramsdale looks a quality keeper but he is young and not quite at deanos level, makes mistakes like every other keeper in the league give him a break he has to save a lot more shots than deano with our defense being a lot worse this year, if we had Jack he would probably be having a much better time tbh

You're probably right. Spending big money on a young keeper is not generally the done thing. Hence my opinion in my first post. They'll let him cook a bit more at the Lane and then take him when he's even more refined.

Hello, Stegosaurus here

Basically Bournemouth had our pants down. Must have been chortling to the bank
 
The problem isn't the goalkeeper it's the left side of defense, endas loss of form, very poor crossing from wide areas, norwood and flecks loss of form making our midfield weaker along with set piece delivery suffering due to that and strikers that really have missed a lot of chances

He’s not a great value signing, but not a;

“we’ve had our pants down and been rodgered relentlessly by Mr Big, with no lube, on national TV” type signing.*

*Like Jordan Rhodes, for example.
 
I think it was nearer 11 million we paid for him wasn’t it? due to the clause we had installed when we sold him, granted it doesn’t make him a worse or better keeper..

don’t think anybody won by Man Utd refusing to pay anything towards Henderson’s wages if he came back here on loan..
 
Don’t forget Henderson eventually got into his stride in the fucking Championship. Give Ramsdale a break, the 10 players in front of him have collectively turned to shit.
 
Way too early to be declaring Ramsdale our worst signing ever. He's not been great but I wouldn't describe him as poor either.

He's a young keeper and he's struggling at the moment (along with our entire first team).

I'm not too worried about his dropped catches and occasional blunders, he'll iron them out. It's clear it's a confidence thing. I'm worried about his lack of athleticism when he dives. I'm not sure how easy it is to develop a spring.

Either way, he's a good kid criticise his performances but these shithouse threads can't be great for him.

Tin hat time on this thread for the poster I think as a goalkeeper if you keep slaying them they’ll never improve I think he’s got something about him perhaps quite not ready yet but get behind him he’s certainly not to blame for the terrible start
