I'm all for making football more affordable, but the atmosphere is terrible when these promotions are on. Even worse I'm subjected to gangs of pre-pubescent whingers sitting around me not watching the match, playing on their phones and saying "Oh my days, have you seen the Arsenal score?" or "This is shit man" at the top of their voices.

Any chance the club could re-package cheap family tickets for these games i.e. cheap rate for an adult and a junior?

Don't you have to buy an adult ticket to get a quid / kid ticket?

Yeah, bloody kids. Let's not encourage them to possibly be the next generation of support. In fact, they should be like Victorian era children - seen and not heard. No, cancel that, they shouldn't be seen either.

Ban all the kids, because the miserable old buggers don't like them.

I think he meant something along the lines of reducing the adult ticket price and the junior ticket price, rather than only the kid's ticket.

So instead of having a full price adult and a £1 kid, you might have 25% off both. So it's cheaper for adults (encouraging them to come back and contribute to what the poster feels is a better atmosphere) as well as kids.

Still gets a like from me though for including Mrs Brady Old Lady.

That was the point I was making. Can't see kids coming along to the game without an adult, certainly not younger children. In order to engender complete Blades-ness I think you need to be dragged along by a parent and forced to endure.

Ah but then they kick them in the teeth when they get to be a student in a different city. It would be ok if they decided to be reasonably loyal to the previous generation they encouraged.
Anyway, I won't be going sometime soon because of how they treat some of the youth who they discourage before they become an adult paying full price.
