If away fans are thinking of making a day of it and want to sink a few ales I'd suggest jumping on the tram at Midland station, getting off at Shalesmoor and going on the piss at Kelham Island.

Assuming the captain will be in the Railway with raul and TP pre-game, then Maggies afterwards?

This is a legitimate non-troll suggestion, it would be perfectly walkable if you stop off at the Harlequin on the way down for some much needed refreshment but it seems as if that's shut on Tuesdays, or at least that's what the interwebs tell me

Try The Lord Nelson, proper old school, no hand dryers mind just a brown sweat towel that's been there since 05.

The Howard (opposite Sheffield train station)

The Globe (just up from the Howard)

The Roebuck Tavern (On Arundel Gate, within 5 minutes walk of both of the above
There's 2 dedicated away pubs straight ahead when you come out of the station (The Howard and The Globe).
And kindly stay there. With your Hollywood A list celebrity worship T shirts

Sheffield Tap (no colours), the Rutland Arms or Triple Point if you like a variety of beers. The Tap is a bit pricey but has a good selection, Triple Point is nice but heavily focus on their own beers, Rutland is reasonable for selection and price but does get VERY busy on matchdays.

As others have said, Bramall Lane is a great away ground to come to if you like your beer. Loads and loads of places in easy walking distance, and lots of them are away-friendly as long as you're not a prick.

Gina works the diner all day

Yorkshire Grey - some of us old'uns will remember ' .......a night out in Sheffield' included the Minerva.

Happy days
First port of call every Friday night late 70's. Waiting for a pint at the bar one night and the 'Blue Angels' decided to take their argument with the landlord a step further and starting launching pint glasses at him.....i managed to duck and stay down.

The Beer Engine is always a good spot for home and away fans alike. Just off the legendary London road.
