Any recommendations for pre match bevvies this coming Tuesday?
Thanks in advance. 🍻

The Howard (opposite Sheffield train station)

The Globe (just up from the Howard)

The Roebuck Tavern (On Arundel Gate, within 5 minutes walk of both of the above)

Near the train station for the usual away pubs, the Howard, The Globe and The Graduate.

If you want real ale The Rutland isn't a bad bet and is also close.

if you're going to be here all day, maybe head to Kelham Island or up Division Street

There is about 50 pubs and drinking establishments with a 10-15 walk of Bramall Lane.

You've got the Globe and Howard if you fancy the rowdy atmosphere of an away day with obligatory flat Carling.

You've got the real ale places

You've got 3 Wetherspoons and a Lloyds bar within easy distance

You've got the back street boozers

Only really a couple of pubs and the pubs closest to the ground and on London Road that aren't away friendly.

If i was an away fan who loved a beer, Bramall Lane would be one of the away days on the calender I was looking forward to the most.

The Industry Tap, Triple Point are decent for beer enthusiasts. en route between the station and the lane.

my other favourites are

  • The big gun (wicker) - ask for Mark.
  • The hen and chickens - ask for the “special”
  • Barry’s - ask for UB40

I’m hurt that Barry’s is being lumped in with the comedy places! It’s good Guinness! 🇯🇲

As long as you avoid London Road, you'll be alright. Note the Sheffield Tap if you're coming on train (which given you can't get back, I doubt) doesn't allow colours
