Our individual interpretations differ then! I can see some value in retaining the European scouting network of United world, but not the management template they try to use for clubs. I also think that the club has reached whatever ‘peak value’ it is going to get now, so a sale may or may not depend on his wishes? The time to sell and move on has arrived, especially if the rumours about Berge are correct." The good thing is I want still to be involved with the Club. I'll be staying, United World will be staying but not in a controlling interest and that was really important to me. Of course some of the offers wanted to own the Club for 100% , some prefer we stay. All things equal I'd prefer to be part of the Club."
I interpret that to mean he's made the decision to stay in part and a 100% sale is currently not an option with the 2/3 parties that are in advanced negotiations.
It may be that the Prince wants to sell the club based on youthful player potential, and a healthy balance sheet? If he does that I see the club being sold, but not for anything like 170m.
