Good point about PA being willing to swallow his pride and bring Wilder back. I'm no fan of PA but he was able to recognise that CW was a good fit for the club and it was worth patching things up. Another owner may have gone for someone like Rooney or another foreign name.

Also recognising early on that Slav wasn't working and changing it in enough time to salvage the season and make the play offs under PH.

A couple of years ago I made this comment about Mr Bloom and it still holds true.

Benjamin Bloom, there is a dilemma for me if ever there was one.

If we moved in the same social circles we certainly wouldn’t be friends, he reminds me of that twatty little hipster kid who you wanted to smack but knew he’d be straight off to the teacher.

On the other hand, his content is some of the best online, I really think he should be working for Sky earning millions and I wouldn’t begrudge him a penny. I can listen to him all day.

Just can’t look at him .

Way better than all the championship pundits we currently have with a perfect face for radio, hope he gets the well paid job he deserves.

I always said that Benjamin Bloom should be on TV with Colin Murray covering the Championship. They're both very knowledgeable and unbiased and don't waffle on in lazy cliches, or suck up to teams like Leeds.

Bloom revealed during the pod with Hal (which was very good BTW, Hal) that he and Sam Parkin now have a Championship related podcast. This was news to me, and is something I will have to give a listen to, as Parkin was one of the best on the Football League show before they gutted it of pundits: as you say re Murray, very knowledgeable and no biased agenda.
