For all those off to say their farewells to life please stop, it's all about fitness and trying different formations. It does not mean we are going to get relegated or promoted, it means we will be fit and ready come August 5th and will also give Wilder an insight into what we need before the window closes.

We do seem to have more attendees that aren't used to pre-season of late... There was a group arguing on the way out tonight... The majority of which were ready the write off the season, saying we look like relegation fodder and like Wilder has 'lost the plot'. They did sound entirely sober too.

I've never been to a friendly in 52 yrs of following the Blades they're just about fitness and gelling as a squad

I've not looked at other friendly results but I'll bet that if you do you'll see plenty of teams getting far poorer results than we have.

We've only won, including against a decent Malaga side, and performance wise the fundamentals seem well in place.
