Norwich & brum at home

WBA away

On current form 3 winnable games.

7 points or more and its on

2nd half of season is momentum and belief, let’s fuckin do this

As long as Asda has not run out of fax paper we have a 3% chance 👍

I know it's a cliche but the next two home games are vital. Four points would be a disappointment but not a disaster if we go on to beat Portsmouth and pigs. Can't afford a loss in either game. In fact we need to target ten points minimum from the next four.

Have to be targeting 12pts. 10pts minimum.

Can't help but think of the Villa team that went on that incredible run at the back end of the 2018-19 season.

They set a new club record by winning ten consecutive league games from March to April.

But even those 30 points only took them from 11th to 5th.

That's the kind of mountain we're attempting to climb here.

If we did make it in, it would be one of the very few times we’ve made the playoffs in good form. We are usually the team that finishes 3rd and has to deal with going again. 14/15 we were just kind of very meh towards the end of a campaign of quite dire football and ended that season really poorly. The playoff campaign that followed was very predictable.

Am I right in thinking 21/22 was the only time we’ve hit form and got in late as the winning team so often does? Poor Forest first leg aside we were the better team over two legs in that competition and Forest only have Samba to thank for going up that season. We would have beaten that Huddersfield side in the final.

If we managed to go up, it would be a feat never to be broken.

No club has survived after our first 10 games.

Imagine not only surviving but going up 🤣
