Going into the play-offs we have a bit of a selection headache. Choudhury has improved after an iffy start, whilst Souza just doesn't seem the same player lately.
Do we try and shoe-horn both in to the team for the play-offs or do we accept Souza has lost something and needs dropping?

They cannot both play in midfield as they do the same job, I.e pick the ball u0 from a centre half and give it him back again.
Souza should play ten / fifteen yards in front if the back four not as an extra centre half which takes us all fifteen yards towards our own goal.
If Choudhury is to play he should be right back with, but please do not play them in the same role as they tread on each others toes

Agree I'd def not want them both together in midfield. I think Souza midifeld and Choudhury right back is more likely if they were to both play.

Souza doesn’t seem fully fit yet, but on his day can be unplayable

I’d tell him to run his bollox off for 60 mins, then bring Choudhury on when he’s blowing, unless we need a goal then replace him with a more attack minded player - go on Chris, you knows it makes sense

Choudhury gave the ball away three times at Stoke in positions that Stoke could easily have scored from.

Two lazy misplaced passes and one attempted sliding tackle that missed absolutely everything and yet people are asking "should he replace Souza?"

I wonder how many would be suggesting that if Stoke forward players were more clinical when presented with free overloads.

Meanwhile Jack Robinson went to intercept a cross field ball which he only succeeded in booting straight up in the air (not entirely unusual I would agree) and he's the devil incarnate and an accident waiting to happen.

I do wonder what influences people to think that one is first name on the team sheet and the other should be nowhere near the team.

Well I know Souza's had an injury and from where I'm looking he doesn't seem to have recovered from it well. His season has been a tale of two halves and this isn't the good half.

Both play in the away leg, with Choudhury at right back. Drop one of the two for Seriki in the home leg, unless we're 2+ goals ahead.

Both, it's 0-0 at the moment and we have to do all we can to keep it that way

To me, central midfield is too important a position to be risking a player that's out of form. I'm currently leaning to Choudhury and Peck in midfield with Seriki at right back.
He's not 'out of form', he's coming back from best part of 4 months out.

Start Hamza and Vini in all 2 or 3 games. They are both (lower) Prem standard, our opponents won’t be over blessed with such players.
Seriki a good option off the bench.
