Robbo's ball outta defence to Hamer against Millwall got us 3 points.JLT is a reasonably solid CB, but his limited technical ability always worries me. Even more so these days when we're more intent on playing out from the back.
4 really tuff games coming up so the squad will have to be rotated each game. If we get 8pts out of 12 I'll be amazed I'd also be happy with 6.
Not much to choose between top 4 or 5. We've proved we can handle it with injuries and suspensions but if we accumulate any more results will falter. Anyway 2 more points and we won't go down hahahaIt's a tough game for each of our opponents too, we are better than all of them.
Obviously we play Burnley on Thursday Is bleeding obvious.Obviously we play Burnley on Thursday and Chris Wilder has confirmed that both Souza and Anel are fit.
But do you throw them straight back in?
In my opinion Souza has to come back in but i’m not sure for who, would you drop Davies or Peck?
There is also an argument for Anel, of course Robbo has been fantastic and doesn’t deserved to be dropped but Burnley have quick players and are very dangerous on the counter attack and we could really need Anel’s pace for this game.
Let me know what you would do if you were Wilder.

I think Anel is a necessity for Sunderland and WBA games as they've pace up top. I'd keep him on the bench Thursday unless he absolutely 100% fit.
Give peck a rest, Davies starts, peck on for final 30Obviously we play Burnley on Thursday and Chris Wilder has confirmed that both Souza and Anel are fit.

yes not for tomorrow because that would be silly...Anel comes back in, but not for tomorrow. He has been out for a period now and Robinson is fit, building up good form and will be mentally ready for this fixture as well as being captain in a game that will be a battle. Defence is the area we should tamper with least. Souza is a more straightforward return and tactically easier to swap out, if he struggles for the 90.
Got to go with this line up for me, it's a good test of where we're at tomorrow, Burnley will give it a good go, let's hope we're up for itCooper

Looks a pretty solid line up in fairness

He stays in for me.
Anel will have had the Gypsy's Warning from CW about his stupidity at Coventry.Peck absolutely needs a rest anyway, so if Souza is ok to start that one's a no brainer.
It's a bit more difficult for me with JLT. Yes I think Anel is the slightly better defender alongside Souttar, but if JLT is fit he has to play. The reason being that it sends out the wrong message if Anel walks straight back in, following his petulance against Coventry, which could have cost us dearly. If JLT hadn't been as effective as he has been, I would have voted for Anel to return.
I agree, especially with the first sentence. The most pleasing thing for me is that this decision is quite a difficult one to make .
Since Davies and Robinson were called in to replace Souza and Anel both have performed admirably . As recently as last season these may well have been the likes of Slimane and Trusty both of whom had obvious flaws in their game .
Did we really get the reported £ 7 million fee for the latter ? If so , it must go down as not just one of but our greatest transfer ever .![]()
Almost. Blah blah blah. His incompetence on the ball almost cost us 2 points against Cardiff. Better teams would have punished us and have before. He’s also equally as prone to a loss of head like Anel v Cov.
Anel is better in every department and should come straight back in.
Yeh agree , bring back Anel & Vini .. with option to introduce the young uns as necessaryCooper

Reckon if jlt is fit he will start but Souza should come back in.I think they both will and these are the kind of decisions Wilder will want to make.
I also wonder if he'll start Brewster instead of Rak-Sakyi.
Turns out Wilder thought the same.Reckon if jlt is fit he will start but Souza should come back in.
Id deffo start Brewster instead of rak-sakyi. Who I think has been off the boil for a month. Id even go brooks instead too.
Wilder's secret S2 account found!Turns out Wilder thought the same.
Funnily enough, I called we'd lose today although I thought it would be 1-0 or 2-1 and when Anel came on, I said it would be Gilchrist who came off.Wilder's secret S2 account found!

I'm not proud of any of those predictions!
