One very good change is the current owner refusing to panic and sell to the first offer.

The club will always listen to offers for any player, then weigh up the cost. SUFC don’t need to push anyone out, but Grbic has already been replaced …….

Guessing this won't be public like it used to be, a few have said this and there's no mention on today's list.

CW has said its a big rebuild so I suggest more players will leave the club for transfer fees.

Surprised we've not managed to plan Grbic out somewhere, even if we're paying the bulk of his wages.

Can see why we'd keep Coulibaly around as a body to train with and for the cup games. Clearly has no future here though.

A.Davies/ Grbic from very very very very limited knowledge, I do think we might as well have Faxon as our number 2 over these 2.

RND- feel sorry for the lad but he seems to have lost any sense of speed, probably not going to suit the new managers style in that case?

Robinson- I have mixed feelings because he does always give 100% and in the PL season, probably showed himself as being mentally stronger than the rest. Doubt we will move him on at this point so he will be in and around the team thi season.

Shackleton- when was the last time we saw him?! His photo on the squad website looks like a school boy who accidentally found himself in the Sheffield United squad but he would have to play naked every match. He looks terrified. I remember last preseason thinking he would be good to have in the squad and I seem to remember him being hard working in midfield so maybe there is still hope for him in a hard pressing CM? As a substitute? For cup games against lower league teams?

Unless it was wages I can’t understand why Wilder got ride of Ben Osborne who he could have given a 12 month deal too and brought in Shackleton. Similar utility player but BO was a known quantity and would run himself into the ground for a shirt in whatever position he was told to play in.

Wilder wanted to keep him, new board didn't. We treated him like shit to be honest, rescinded our contract offer and he out the door.

In fairness we didn’t bring Shackleton in to be injured so we haven’t seen anything of him apart from bit parts.

I agree with most of these apart from JLT. I would keep him as backup. We are already short at CB and I'm guessing Anel may be allowed to leave if we get a good offer so that would mean bringing in 3-4 cents backs.

In my opinion based on no evidence whatsoever, just a gut feeling, Robinson could be a poisonous influence in the dressing room against Seles. Be interesting to see if he is a starter or frozen out.

I'd rather do that. JLT was "back up" last season and we ended up needing him which some would argue cost us promotion. I'd rather get rid and bring someone else in even if it is for back up

This. Keepers will get some sort of takers but the others we're likely stuck with.

In an ideal world I'd bin all five of them. Davies can sit on the bench if we have nobody better but I wouldn't want him having a long run of games if Cooper got injured for any prolonged period.

Some people seem to like Robinson but other than the novelty value of the long throw and the odd slide tackle, he's not big enough, strong enough, clever enough or good enough on the ball for a team with its eyes on promotion.

He's a reactive player, usually to one of his own mistakes, rather than someone who owns a situation, because he's half asleep and isn't alive to something that was obvious would happen 3 or 4 passes earlier. If Wilder gets another job any time soon, hopefully Robbo will be the first one to go with him.

I’ve not seen enough of either Davis or Shackleton to comment fairly, but I’d move the rest on if we can.

We might be stuck with them but I’d be surprised if someone wasn’t interested in a few of them, especially Robinson. He did captain and play regularly for side that finished 3rd in the league, so has some experience to benefit from.
