Guessing this won't be public like it used to be, a few have said this and there's no mention on today's list.

CW has said its a big rebuild so I suggest more players will leave the club for transfer fees.

Of the current squad who do you think will be made available? Outta these 6 for me..

Hamer has got to be on that list too, no way we can afford to keep a player that we could get 20 odd million for

I wouldn't sell him but unless he has a special season you could argue his value is at its highest right now. I'm not completely against selling at a high and using funds to build a squad with that but considering the size of rebuild already needed I am not sure getting rid of someone who would likely start the vast majority of games is wise unless we absolutely need the money

Keep your powder dry mate. The club will already know how much wonga the new owners have available for the playing staff and there is a possibility that we may not need to sell anyone for a very long time. On the other hand....

Every club needs to sell. Even Chelsea might lose Gallagher due to needing to sell. I think selling players at a high and building a stronger squad with that money is exactly what a club of our size will always need to do even if a billionaire took over due to ffp rules
 
List the fucking lot, keep what we have to and hope the yanks are loaded!!

With the right scouting system you could build a new quality midfield in the championship with what we would get for Hamer alone.

We did it with Brooks. Norwood, Egan mcgoldrick and Henderson loan. Money well spent.
 
Nothing we didn’t know, take out the long term injured and the ones certain to be sold we have about six first team squad members currently.. so we need 5 loans and 9 permanent signings just to get to 20 players.. we will now also need to promote another 2-3 from the youth side, who in an ideal world we should be loaning out for the season.

A successful season will be stopping up.

The Prince has made a right Horlix of things.

All brought into a team that was fully established and needed finishing touches.

If Hamer leaves, we don't have a single player with over 50 senior appearances who's a definite starter for a top 6 Championship team. If possible, the club needs to build around him. There's no options to replace him
 

Arblaster will probably be away as well with a loan back as best case scenario...unless the takeover happens🤞
 
This is the difficulty if we don’t get taken over…

We have about 6 players who will be here next season…

Meaning reliance on youth , ft, and loans

Long season ahead
 
Arblaster is the player we shouldn't be selling this summer. Anyone else (Hamer included) should be sold on the basis that:

1) it happens early
2) we get good money for them
3) we have a clear replacement lined up that is part of a long term plan (new owners might be the important bit to this).

I don't think Hamer is here for the long term, I think he has been proven to be good enough for PL and without being disrespectful to him, I don't think he has the personality for being a building block of what hopefully is a team fighting for promotion but could also be a team scrapping for mid championship this season.

We should keep players if we don't feel we are getting value for money and also if we don't have the time to sort out replacements. This was one of the worst bits about last summer.

I know I am dreaming!

In reality this is the bit where we then shouldn't sell. I would take Hamer being sold first week of transfer window if by the end of the transfer window it has helped the club.

If we have another last minute sale with then panick buys, I would rather we kept Hamer...

By that reasoning anyone worth money you just sell.
Sounds like a race to the bottom.

In fact you'd actively not have him on the list, and if clubs wish to buy him then we can be reluctant to push the price up to something where we think it's worthwhile.

If we manage to sell Anel for a reasonable sum, (8m-10m+) and even offload Souza (5-6m? Get the impression we haven't paid all the fee yet so could work)
Then given our net spend etc and what not then I would hope that any more sales beyond Grbic, Traore, Slimane etc. who we may well make losses on would make up enough difference so that we can hold onto the better players. And add to them with a modest budget.

However takeover could change everything. It could completely derail transfer business, or up that budget considerably too.

Only ones left so far of my predicted six plus Bogle and Osula. CW impressed with pre season then👀
