Ah fair enoughThe ear protectors comment I reacted to was in a previous post of yours you dullard
Did any other clubs chant the same thing when they played Villa? It was that game yes
I don't know that was the only time I watched villa that seasonDid any other clubs chant the same thing when they played Villa?
Yeah but but, if a kid wore ear protectors in the Co-Op would you post about it? At the football or in the Co-Op- better or worse?I'm immediately nostalgic for those sunny uplit days when I could attend a game where no 'kids wore ear protectors'.![]()
I don't mind doing that but any particular reasonEveryone on the BLUT bring apple juice
I never said it was about the bad language that's not my point at allPersonally, I think the ear defenders comment is a bit uncalled for. I’ve seen them worn by kids at the ice hockey too. Nothing to do with bad language.
Well it sounds like you enjoyed this song. Fair playI don't know that was the only time I watched villa that season
Apologies for getting hold of the wrong end of the stick thenI never said it was about the bad language at all
My initial point was that football fans have for years and years taunted one another and used any tragedy , misfortune to do so , Munich Hillsborough, heysel, Bradford, to name a few , but because of social media it's massively inflamed , there will not be 1 football clubs fans in the country from 60s to 90s that hasn't sang that song to man unitedWell it sounds like you enjoyed this song. Fair play
Of course, I also responded to that point that the things that were chanted up to the 90’s and 00’s aren’t relevant or comparable now.My initial point was that football fans have for years and years taunted one another and used any tragedy , misfortune to do so , Munich Hillsborough, heysel, Bradford, to name a few , but because of social media it's massively inflamed , there will not be 1 football clubs fans in the country from 60s to 90s that hasn't sang that song to man united
I was probably 19 on the kop and don’t recall it, but fair enough if you back up what wak1889 says that it happened. The Milosevic chant definitely happened, I remember because I had to ask my Dad what it meant (I would have been eight or nine at the time).

There was a lot of chanting about his diving to be fairI can't remember it clearly in the sense that it could have just been five people, but the chant itself stuck in my head because as I say ai didn't understand it. Also I thought they were saying "dived" given Milosevic's reputation for cheating, until I was corrected.
It definitely was ive posted about it before 100% factBut that’s also not comparable or relevant to modern day football. It’s not really a case of being sanitised
I don’t recall the Milosevic song being sung on the kop when we played Villa
I don't think you did mate. It was talking about sanitisation of football.Apologies for getting hold of the wrong end of the stick then
Stir things up? Get a grip. This thread just seems to be an attempt to stir things up.
Two people seem to have posted some sick stuff about GB. Maybe there are a few more beyond those cited.
But that doesn’t represent the whole fan base FFS.
Take a look at any social media for 5 minutes and you will come across trolls and sickos.
Thread needs binning.
You aren't either. He's posted his opinion, which is the idea of a forum.Stir things up? Get a grip.
You may think you’re the self-appointed Forum Police but you don’t decide what threads there are or aren’t on here.
If you don’t like it, don’t read it.
Am I asking for what he wrote to be binned? No? Then your post is completely irrelevantYou aren't either. He's posted his opinion, which is the idea of a forum.
You've said if you don't like it don't read it. He's made a valid point and you don't like it. If you don't like it, don't read it.Am I asking for what he wrote to be binned? No? Then your post is completely irrelevant
In your opinion it’s a valid point, in mine it’s not- I’m not the one trying to censor other people’s views. You've said if you don't like it don't read it. He's made a valid point and you don't like it. If you don't like it, don't read it
But you were. That's the point. In your opinion it’s a valid point, in mine it’s not- I’m not the one trying to censor other people’s views.
You’re not making any sense. I know I called you a prick once, and I apologised for it at the time, I was having a bad time and I gave you some abuse when I shouldn’t. But following me around the message board being contrary isn’t healthy. But you were. That's the point.
