Pigs mocking the death of GB

I’m not sticking up for him by any means as I can’t stand spitting in general never mind at someone but has any one actually considered he might have directed it towards the other clown in the lower tier who held up the Where’s Baldock sign on his phone in anger?

For me jail and a lifetime ban would be very harsh in those circumstances, albeit it’s still a disgusting act nonetheless.
That’s just utter utter bollocks.

Let’s hope so, jail term for me. Disgusting loathsome individual who brings shame on himself, family and Sheffield United fans.

Did wonder if he was a regular given where he was, to the left hand side of the upper tier. I would like to think a proper blade wouldn’t do that? Maybe some coked up piss head lowlife.

Saying that who knows, there’s some right cretins follow us who need kicking out.
Agree with half of that but the rest I don't. An absolute vile and disgusting act it was which should never be a thing.

Jail term and lifetime ban is waaaayy to OTT IMO. Might aswell chuck anyone in prisons these days then? (Apart from nonces it seems)

The Blade who fired a flare into the pig end years ago got a 10 year ban.

The pig who mocked Bradley Lowery to the Sunderland fans has a 5 year ban.

Didn't Diouf spit at players when he played football?

The ugly pig asking 'where's Baldock' will probably get a 5 year ban.

Like we've all said, spitting is dirty and horrible and is seen daily allover the world in streets and sports fields etc etc. I just think some people get more angrier because he's a fellow blade.

The maximum football banning order is 10 years on conviction so he’ll not be getting a life time ban.
Spitting on someone counts as an assault, but to convict for that you need a complainant who can say ‘he spat on me’. There won’t be that in this case.
He’s likely to be charged, if at all, with a Public Order offence of causing alarm or distress- which I highly doubt would result in a prison sentence.

Yeah seems about right. He'll also feel a twat now his face has been plastered allover and friends and family have seen it.

He's not directing it at anyone. It's just a cowardly, disgusting thing to do regardless of who is sat in the bottom tier.
I'm not saying he should be jailed, unless he has a lot of previous, but a lifetime bann from football should be automatic.
He's scum.

Sorry, didn't see your reply before I posted my first response, mate.
Fair enough and I appreciate you've given details of previous banning orders.
In my opinion, though, I have to say that I feel they are all too low. I don't think a lifetime ban from football is unreasonable. If you behave like this scumbag and the others you mention at a public event then you deserve to lose your right to attend them again. Reasonable people don't do this sort of thing when there is no chance of being held directly to account by those being spat on.
He's a fucking coward.

I don’t disagree, Jamie Carragher should also be banned for life too but that hasn’t happened either.

Agree with most of that. He needs to be turfed out. But, lifetime bans imply people never change. It's a complete scum thing he did, and needs punishing, 5-10 year ban.

? Unenforceable Club Ban ?

or

? Expensive to acquire and administer CPS and Court Ban ?

In general I would agree with your closing sentence , but this kid’s act was so disgusting and abhorrent that it’s not difficult to argue that he deserves everything he gets as a result of it .

For future reference , the expression is ‘beyond the pale’ and originates from the 14th. Century Norman invasion of Ireland. The territory claimed by the forces would be marked by a wooden fence called an ‘pale’ and those who lived outside it were considered to capable of wild and unruly behaviour .

When I was a kid , we used to call the slats on a wooden fence ‘palings’ . I don’t know if anyone still does but it is obviously from the same root .
Great post

Wasn't there a thread on here previously that said these bans from football stadiums don't work?
A court imposed banning order certainly works- it has many conditions, some would say draconian. They will have a geographical area you’re banned from on match day- say within 2 miles of the stadium for a home match for 2 hours before and 3 hours after kick off and for away games, the whole city or town you’re playing in.
It’s an arrestable offence to breach it.
A club ban? If you get found in the ground you get kicked out- that’s the extent of it and you could stand anywhere outside the ground that doesn’t belong to the club so you could still come down for a fight if you wanted!
The days where clubs like ourselves Leeds, Millwall, Cardiff had in excess of 50 to 100 court bans are long gone- even the worse clubs have around 20-25

We topped that table last year, was more than that too, an alarming amount, was over 100. There was 60 arrested on Derby day alone just the other week, we do have one or two fruit bats in our ranks. 🤦‍♂️😁

60 arrests? The report I read in The Star said 3.

Is there a trophy that comes with that? Does attendance count?

Are you being serious?

So the newspaper reported 3 arrests, but somebody told you there was 60?
And you believed it?
I’m not getting in a tit for tat argument or debate on how many arrests there were, I could flip it back and say you believe what you read in the paper but I’m not going to get into that either. Have a lovely Sunday EC.
