A court imposed banning order certainly works- it has many conditions, some would say draconian. They will have a geographical area you’re banned from on match day- say within 2 miles of the stadium for a home match for 2 hours before and 3 hours after kick off and for away games, the whole city or town you’re playing in.
It’s an arrestable offence to breach it.
A club ban? If you get found in the ground you get kicked out- that’s the extent of it and you could stand anywhere outside the ground that doesn’t belong to the club so you could still come down for a fight if you wanted!
