Nah! Bob Hope is a big Man U fan. I worked with him at Thorpe Park back in the early 90’s and we frequently had lunch together and more often than not we talked about our teams and footie in general.

He’s certainly led a very full soap life, with about four divorces and a couple of dead children. In fact he’s currently in mourning for one, but at least the deceased is a twin so he’s got one left, so not all bad

About 20 few years ago, I chatted to Ray Ashcroft for nearly an hour about The Blades, at a radio station I used to work at. Top bloke he was. Sadly, I've never watched The Bill or Coronation Street, so I wouldn't know either of the two gentlemen if I fell over them in the street.
