Yes, won 1-0. Jake Wright looped a header over the keeper, from Khans long pass in the first half. Totally dominated, but couldn't get the killer second, and Penistone almost levelled with a late free kick. Brooks was the stand out, with a superb second half display.

Yes, Jamie mcdonagh looked good. Liked the look of both CB as well. One was a muscle tank which is just what we need.

As Green & Grey said, pretty dominant without the goals to show for it. Don't think the pitch helped our attacking play with how long the grass was but we were barely troubled at any point. Thought Willis had the free kick covered at the end though.
Brooks was excellent when he came on, and seems to have grown over the summer. Like Foxy said during the game, he just needs bulking up a bit now. CJ Hamilton seems to have found another 10 yards of pace too, he looking lightning quick tonight.

Good old Matt , top bloke. Used to live next door to us. Very weird coming round our house with his little lad trick or treating and then seeing him on motd a few hours later. Could he do a job for us?

Maybe it's the OCD talking but I'd prefer Adidas stripes the same colour on both shirts and shorts. Not to say it looks bad, it looks okay, but I'm pretty picky about these details.

I was there, not much to add really. Except the number 22 lad for us is like absolute shit off a shovel, had 2 glorious chances stopped by their keeper.
The grass and pitch were terrible which really didn't help us but all in all, decent night out!
