Well I'll be happy with the same approach when we play the return fixture and over the moon with a better result ...... ;)
 
The tactics were spot on. In the first half, City's only chances came about from a few slices of luck (the deflected clearance that landed at Alvarez's feet, the handball from a nothing situation).

We had plenty of chances to hit them on the break in that first half. We wasted so many 3 on 3s and 3 on 2s. Our final ball was poor but the idea was there.

If we had managed to hold it at 0-0 until the introduction of Bogle and McBurnie then we might have even nicked it. Whilst those two were on the pitch the match was quite even in terms of chances.

In short: there's more than one way to (try and) win a football match.
