Seems to me that after a couple of years of the fans being as united as they have been for a long time, we risk heading back to mass division as people decide who the villain is or are.

God help us if what matters doesn't go as well this season, or worse totally flops.

Does that mean I'm not allowed an opinion? Only the bigger Blades allowed to speak now? Anyway, I've already paid for my ST so I'll be there in the attendance figures whether I go or not.

What really amuses me is that you, apparently, along with quite a few others are getting all irate because one multi-millionaire is attempting to stiff another multi-millionaire. Naturally, the alliance is being formed along the lines of "one of our own" vs some nasty Arab who doesn't know the name of the street behind the kop. One of them is a proven failure and the other we know little about so I'm open minded about him. As I've said before, I don't give a fuck who outmanoeuvres who, it aint my money. The club is vastly more important than either of them.

But it’s fucked for ten years anyway, by getting a very good fee for a debilitated unknown quantity, so all this is utterly irrelevant.

Both of them. In my opinion. The Prince obviously thinks £25m is too much and is trying to get out of paying it. The way he has done it may be legal or may not be (that’s what the main court case will decide) but it’s got the look of shithousery about it.

The current court case is about both of them loaning the club £1.25m each but the Prince won’t accept this, he wants the money put in as a straight injection (not repayable). KM wants the money to be a loan so if he loses the big court case, he gets the £1.25m back. So he tried to force the Prince to put the money in as a loan, which he would then match, as a loan.
Rather than risk losing the £1.25m he’s prepared to go to court over it and air our dirty laundry in public. And the Prince was happy to go along with it rather than risk having to pay KM the loan back if he wins.

It’s very much a matter of interpretation and opinion but my opinion is that they’re both acting like cunts with little regard for SUFC.
Here's your invoice for legal services Mr McCabe - £1.25M.

The worry is, why wouldn't he want it?

Ownership would give him 100% security of tenure at a very reasinable cost, unless of course he doesn't see our future as being there.

Personally, i think he has seen an opportunity to fast track the Blades getting into the premier league. Decent first season back with top 10 finish, a £20m push might be seen as a better investment in achieving the premier league goal, rather than having to buy the properties at this time with the money he has available.
It's a more reasonable cost to carry on leasing the properties.

I think it’s sobering reading for any fan who took the view that last season was best considered as a season to “consolidate” and that we should just settle for that and “push on” this season instead. We never know what’s around the corner, could be a totally different situation this time around, for better or worse.

My main concern is that this doesn’t impact negatively in recruitment as we need that if we are to improve on last season.

Do you realise you are a joke poster whose posts are purely for trolling and thread wrecking? Most of the posters on here have alter egos and even the more vociferous ones are probably decent folk in real life. You on the other hand are probably just as loathsome as your persona is on here.

I’m afraid it’s another monumentous cock-up by McCabe. That bloke has held the club together and set it back in equal measure. He undoubtedly means well, but he is the biggest blundering fool of a Chairman/owner, I can ever recall. He set up this deal which has seen half the club go to foreign ownership, yet he didn’t take sufficient care to protect even his own interests, never mind the clubs (and fans) interests.

There’s a shit storm coming his way and the only way out of it is for him to agree a deal that will ultimately be about preserving his own interests above those of the club.

Unless he gets that wrong as well!

This blundering fool has made a great deal more dosh than you or I...

You’ve realised what a fucking ridiculous comment you made in your self-indulgent tantrum haven’t you?

Since then you’ve revealed how little you know about running a football club, business and litigation.

Do you know anything about anything?

You can tell Wimbledon is on, :———
15 all snooty to serve

Anyone got any ideas how long this will play out for in the courts?

It won’t be called on for trial this year unless they get an expedited hearing, unlikely given Fancourt J refused interim relief, or a date has already been fixed, unknown to us. The case itself will take no more than a week or two, if that.

Foxy will likely know?

Well I made you look a complete fool on the attendance counting thread and corners won't get you anywhere thread (like WC semi finals). Stick to the soundbites pal, at least your threads do contain some amusement for their infantile content with them.

Ok, so then who owns the newly created company that’s nothing to do with the prince, because doesn’t that make this person a major shareholder..

Or have I missed something....

A novel approach - not allowed by FFP?.

At least Kev saw through that one.
I’m getting bored of trawling through documents now but if it was against FFP then perhaps it would have supported KM’s case if his counsel had mentioned it?

The lack of understanding on such a basic point really informs why we get such drivel from the Agenda Brigade and the Wheerstmunnehgone Faction.

At the end of the litigation there will be an agreement or order (in the absence of agreement) as to costs. Nothing comes for free in civil litigation and loser pays.
Doesn’t it, to a degree, depend on the conduct of the parties? I seem to recall cases where the conduct of the ‘winner’ has been so appalling they’ve been ordered to pay their own costs. I could be wrong but I also have in the back of my mind that the courts don’t like those who choose litigation when the matter may have been solved by ADR.

Is ADR like VAR?

How much is it likely to be costing each of them to go through all of this?

Brief research shows it's treated as equity for FFP purposes. I.e., non repayable.
