He can’t beat a man through either pace or trickery. He lacks the kind of pace to beat a defender even if he plays a one-two. Defensively he’s a bit better. But overall as someone who has spent a long time as a midfielder too often his first thought is to look inside and safe and that’s not what we want out of our LWBs. And his deliveries aren’t amazing. He’s a capable fill-in who works hard but nothing more IMO.I still think (*before we signed this French kid? -unknown entity) that Ozzy, when fit, is the best / most reliable LWB at the club.
Can defend and attack, & runs his heart out for the cause every time he wears the sacred crossed blades on his chest.
