Open the bloody Kop next time please

What has that got to do with your claims ?
Yet again you stoop to bringing an entirely different point into it because your original one was a bag of shite. It shows the kind of poster you really are, a halfwit who is incapable of backing in any way up his own nonsense.

As for Bannerman, I wasn't involved in anything that resulted in a ban for him. In fact - look it up, it's a word you don't understand - he had said we actually got on away from general chat.

Are you sure you aren't a Pig. They lie, misrepresent and bullshit just like you.

Getting a bit riled now aren't we Sean. If you didn't feel the need to adjudicate on every thread pretending to be Irish, a financial wiz or being sat next to Chinese student ST holders you wouldn't get yourself into such a pickle. All I said in the post which got you frothing was that United could have easily closed a stand during the L1 years to save a bit of cash but they elected not to, so why bother doing so the other night. Hmm, wonder what I need to do to really get you going.

Now I don't wish to derail your mission to be Queen Bee of the forum, you live on the thing and you've already got your drones from Bladesmad on board to help you along, so the Pig jibe is to be expected as a last resort in an attempt to shut down an argument. I hope Foxy and Linz are taking note because you not only managed to shut down discussions this way, you also managed to destroy the fucking forum.

Aah. The call of the desperate. You're "riled".
Again. Nothing to do with the debate whatsoever, just you trying to hold your temper in by posting yet more irrelevancies, yet I'm the one shutting down a debate that YOU moved away from by bringing up another poster who had had no input to this thread. How does that work? Now ex BladesMadders are in your sights. Presumably those who disagree with you?

Now a cry to the moderators, presumably you think no one will notice it's a whiney poor me call for a ban. Can you get even more pathetic? I suspect you can old man.

Stop blubbering.

Sean, the pig jibes are nothing to do with the debate either, its just a cheap shot you and your ilk use to shut down a discussion. So I've just called you out for it. Good luck in your attempt to turn this board into another Bladesmad stroke Womens Institute forum.

The discussion had changed by you bringing another member on a totally different debate, section, let alone this thread yet you level that at me?

😄😄😄

The Pig jibe was really more pointing out your unfamiliarity with reality and the truth, the paragraph above showing a perfect example.

I'll leave you to your Ovaltine and Ritalin nightcap and wish you Good Evening.

Sweet dreams about wielding that post hole digger back in the day.

Back on topic, surely they will open the kop v Sunderland...won't they?

I'll leave you to your Ovaltine and Ritalin nightcap and wish you Good Evening.

Yeah and I'll leave you to your Red Bull and tissue paper for another of your all-nighters.

Fuck knows what your missus thinks about it.

Nitey!

Forget how many people turn up, there may at least be an attempt at an atmosphere if the kop was open.

It will be embarrassing on the South stand v Sunderland, so much so that I think I’d give it a miss if that was all that was open again.

Because it doesn't actually work that when you halve the price of something that you double the sales or better.

The fact is that the fans don't care that much about the early rounds of the cup and most people know the clubs don't either. It was never going to be much of a game and I think anyone who was still interested enough to go probably did.

If we aren't even going to sell most of the John Street and South Stand tickets, opening more of the ground with the expense that comes with it is a bizarre idea.
Bearing in mind we got 6,000ish last season against Hull at a similar stage says to me we could’ve had a lot more fans there the other night, especially with the pulling power we should currently have.

Not having the Kop open clearly puts people off from going, that much is obvious to me, why should fans who obviously like the Kop suffer for what would cost the club in relative terms, peanuts? This season, the club really aren’t thinking about the fans at all.

Perfect test for the club now.

Another home tie against comparable opposition.

They have to do a better job of it this time. We should be getting at least 15,000.

200 loyalty points. Open Kop. £10 tickets, maybe less for Kop.

Did any other club not open a stand for a league cup game 2nd round fixture?

How many fans do you think there were that wanted to be on the Kop so badly that they opted not to go at all rather than sit elsewhere? It seems absurd on the face of it to think that would've been a significant number but I'm all ears if anyone has anything to suggest otherwise.

Agree with this 10 quid a ticket "bonus" loyalty points. (Provide Sunderland agree)

I'd imagine Sunderland would near enough sell out at least 1 tier.

With you on this one. The only noise coming out of an empty kop on that occasion would be the echo from the away fans in the Lane end. Embarrassing doesn't even begin to describe it.

I agree in the grand scheme of things but I think we all know that some would prefer the Kop over anything else in the world, there are Blades out there who would do nothing other than support the Blades on the Kop.

Kop closed for Sunderland, same prices as Blackburn.

Great decision, we might be able to pay Kieron Freeman his appearance fee for the game now.

I can't believe that in this day and age, it's still acceptable for the club to rip out the vocal chords of any kop goers who consider braving sitting in another stand. It's no wonder closing the kop drasticly reduces the attendance for these fixtures.

South stand to be blighted by Kop and Pukka stand vagrants, again.
Can almost smell it now.

Turnstiles are automatic. Catering is outsourced. How much extra does it bloody cost to open the kop? Two hours for a few stewards on minimum wage?

They don’t turn up at 7.40 and leave at 9.40 you know.

I'm on holiday for this one, so at least I won't have to mix with the riffraff from the Kop again, on the South Stand.

I normally sit on the South but I enjoy being able to see, so if they're not going to turn the lights down open the Kop so I don't have to sit opposite them.

Seriously though, open the Kop.
