Would that be the dart incident game?
Being a Terrace'ite I didn't see much first hand, only walking wounded passing to be patched up or ejected.
I was too young to attend matches then. I remembered what my friend (sadly died in 2000) told me about the match. Am not aware of the dart incident. Years ago I saw a photo of a Blade who had blood pouring from his head after being hit by a brick in the Man U game in October 1967.

Anyone have any photos and memories of the old Club shop on the corner of John Street / Countess Road?!?
Just to let you know, there are at least two to my knowledge. One of the shop and one of the opening of it with players and Miss SUFC in attendance but cannot lay my hands on them at this time, sorry.
Here one of a beer off on John St,John St match day-3.jpgWasn't the club shop on the opposite corner to the left?

The infamous Tony Currie return to Bramall Lane as a Leeds player night!...

...and who will ever forget our 'for one night only' goalkeeper's performance in our 1-4 defeat!?!

Greenwich Blade

Yes, Nicky Johns! Who having returned to the UK from the NASL (!) to appear for us once, went on to become a Charlton Athletic goalkeeping hero!

Currie's goal that night left Johns actually tied up in the back of the netting!

There maybe a photo of it out there somewhere?!?

Absolutely correct! Wikipedia wrong (probably only consider league games)...

v Sunderland on BBC MOTD!

My dad said, "That new goalie looks a bit suspect," after the game, with particular reference to him spilling the ball for Sunderland's first. A few days later we found out exactly how suspect.

I remember the spill and the guy behind me in the upper Bramall Lane stand yelling 'Johns, tha shudda weshd thi shirt'.
Had to ask my dad to explain and apparently Arsenal believed they lost the 1927 FA Cup Final to Cardiff because the ball skidded on their goalkeeper's brand new shirt.
Evidently to this day Arsenal always pre-wash goalkeeper shirts!?!

You decide...

Vivian was a standard man’s name. Poet’s like Tennyson invented Vivien as a female equivalent, and it became fashionable. But not everywhere - Viv Richards is a good living example of a male Vivian.
Marion was a bloke's name too. Just ask John Wayne.
