My wife managed to film Burrow's "goal" but it's too depressing to watch back and share. One of my best moments as a Blade when, for a minute, I genuinely thought we'd done it. As soon as the VAR check came up I knew they'd look for a way to disallow it.

I really thought the Blades in attendance would get their day in the sun yesterday.

I was watching on TV from the states, and at 1v0, was feeling a bit mixed as I expected us to go on and win, and was thinking I'm not going to be there to experience it first hand.

Wembley is a horrible place when you lose isn't it, but would have been magical to get the win their.

I lost my diary mojo after watching Wilder raise the white flag. However unprofessional not to finish. This is the reminants of my snack box.


The Dickinson & Morris pork pie is a new one I’ve found in Tesco. Good peppery afterburners, well cooked into heel of crust and a traditional crimped lid.

I didn’t have the stomach to finish it after game. We got the tube to Pinner, jumped in car and legged it to first services on M40 (I was picking daughter in law up from Birmingham airport at 11:30).

When we got there there was a KFC so we bought a 10piece bargain bucket and stuffed our faces. With a couple of hours to kill we had an idea, went to the NEC cinema next to the aitprpirt and watch Fibsl Destination reboot. Picked DiL up and got home about 01:30am.

Same I was in block 103. £107 tickets but I had no travel or accommodation expenses. Despite what a lot of others are saying I actually like Wembley stadium. The facilities/views are second to none.
