Would he take over from Alf on right wing or was there someone else in between ?

Apparently Alf Ringstead left 'United' in '59, playing his last game on April 27 V Cardiff, at the Lane,1-1, so a two year overlap at 1st team level and looking at their appearances they shared it with the odd appearance of at least one other player, Kemp(Sammy).
 
Looks like Hillsborough has been proposed as a venue in the UK&Ireland's bid for 'Euro 2028', instead as grounds like Old Trafford and Anfield.
Ampt read it all but says a derelict stadium will be used,:confused:
